I'm a Fluttercord person.

I'd hate for the shipping to become canon--which I'm sure (I hope) it won't be--but I like the obvious affection they have for each other. Downright romance seems a bit much, but I enjoy the possibility of mutual romantic feelings, especially if they're never acted upon. Oh, I'm sure an excellent fan fiction or incredible episode could change my mind, but I just can't imagine Discord nor Fluttershy getting into a relationship while still remaining in-character.

I'm also a fan of Luna x Big McIntosh, thanks to a certain few pages from the comics, but neither of them have enough details personality-wise for me claim it as an OTP.

I have gotten really attached to fluttercord. I read the fanfic bride of Discord and it made me fall in love with this ship. 

Im always debating over applespike or sparity... there both just so cute!! I like cheerimac (and proud. no fluttermac for this girl!) I never really thought about them being together before the hearts and hooves day episode... and there both hard working, like apple bloom said which i think is a trait for them to share... better than both being shy like fluttermac... also big mac isn't necessarily "shy" she just strong and silent... not shy... theres a difference.. i think. 

 

Did I also mention Good!Sombra x Celestia? I think they're a cute ship.

yeah, i ship sombra and celestia... OTHER WORLD sombra. I know it was in the comic but... i wuv it... not as much as fluttercord... fluttercord is ma life... 

 

roarin is cool... (rainbow x soaring). flashlight is nice... even though it happened in the show, it's still pretty... cute. I do like fancity! Since , fancy pants is so nice to rarity  it gives me a warm glow in my lower intestines, along with cheesepie. I'm VERY protective of dissy though... I love fluttercord because... well, there are so many things I can't begin to tell you! lie, how fluttershy acutally became friends with discord even when she just had to reform him. and she acutally kept being friends with him after he left, you gotta admit, thats cute... plus, did anyone else notice WHY celestia released discord? FOR HIS MAGIC, NO FEELS. also, i love how discord said flutter shy was worth all the alicorn magic in equestria.... SQUEEEEE!!!!

But seriously, it's AppleDash for me. And no, not because they're both tomboys. Not because of their races and competitions. No. I ship them, because they can really understand and protect each other. I'll never understand or support ships like FlutterDash, because... well, they're so different. Too different. I don't believe in all that "opposites attract", because it means that they'd always compromise. And while compromises are good, relying only on them in a relationship is toxic. I love AppleDash, because they can trust and support each other. Dash needs someone, who is strong and dependable, someone who always will be there for her and challenge her to be a better pony. Applejack, on the other hand, needs someone, who would bring her more playful side and help her relax and forget about her work and responsibilities. Also, they just have that connection, bond different than any other pairing in MLP. Yeah, they often tease each other, but it only shows how strong their relationship is. How much they trust each other. For me it always will be the best ship.

I used to like Twijack for some reason (friendshipping only!). Maybe it was because they were my two favorite ponies at the time. Nowadays I just like Soarin x RD because there's plenty of fan art of it, and my OC has the same mane style as RD, and my special somepony's OC has Soarin's mane style. So it's easy to recolor those pics

I think Cheesepie is my favorite ship, those two are just so compatible and cute together~! I bet they'd go on loads of fun dates and secretly be very mushy and romantic in private hehe

Discord x Pinkie is also my guilty pleasure, It just has so many possibilities for interesting scenarios, though I do like this pairing a lot more if both of the characters have been "humanized"

 

Other Pairing I enjoy are Spike x Rarity, Rarijack, Soarinjack and Spike x sweetiebelle

Im not a big fan of inaccurate character in art work... like fluttershy being really jealous of cheerile. I don't think flutters would do that... but hey I just think Fluttermac has... not enough content to be real? They had the pony tones episode but Big mac is just nice like that... i know a lot of boys who would do that for someone! Big mac and Cheeralie just has more of a spark...how there both hard working, having to take care of ponies younger than them, it just kinda clicks! plus, isn't Fluttermac canon now? I mean, every time I see Big mac in the back ground he's with Cheeralie... thats gotta mean something! Anyway, I think that ships like Flutterdash and Fluttercord have more back story and social content then Fluttermac. You can't put two people together if they have only one trait in common, don't forget that opposites attract. Don't ship two people/ponies/other creatures JUST because there Shy. I actually think a ship like Cheesepie would work because of there back story and how there emotions differ. Like how Pinkie can be full on party girl and cheese is fun and partying but he is also a bit less hyper, but still fun. Maybe I feel like Fluttershy would be with someone who is her opposite. I like discord and flutters together because it is a great example of opposites attract. not just that she's an element of harmony and he is the lord of chaos. but also how fluttershy is quiet and sweet when discord is a bit more brutal and crazy. but they also have many layers, fluttershy may look shy and timid (and she is) but she can really break out of her shell and discord may look mean and scary but he's really quite friendly and caring. Ponies/humans/other species have layers, like an onion.

My favorite has to be Derpy x Doctor Whooves/Time Turner. I'm not entirely sure why. I just find them so cute together, plus Lovestruck Derpy is probably what really got me to love the ship.

 

I also like Rarity x Spike, Fluttershy x Discord or Celestia x Discord, and Cheerilee x Big Mac. I'm not too into the yuri or yaoi (if there are any in MLP) ships, but I find some of them adorable, like Lyra and Bon Bon or Octavia and Vinyl Scratch, to I like Vinyl with Neon Lights better (not sure why).

I don't think there is one best ship out there. Each of us has our own opinion about which one's the best, or which ones are the best. That's the great thing about being able to have your own likes and dislikes.
