Why does Rarity's funniest moment go unappreciated?

Seriously folks! xD It happened in the Season 1 premiere and is still the funniest thing she's ever done, IMO. And she's done a lot of funny things.

 

Everybody talks about how badass it was that Fluttershy killed a bear...Rarity stabbed a dragon!!

Well she really didn't stab him. More like plucked a scale off him.

 

And that was one of her funniest moments!

 

My personal favorite Rarity moment was in "Games Ponies Play". The part where RD hits the dome and Rarity looks up and doesn't notice her! I laugh out a lung when that happens!

Best Rarity moment is either ninja Rarity in Return of Harmony (while she's defending Tom), or "I'LL DESTROY HER!" in the Gabby Gums episode that I forgot the name of.

I get the humor... But I never really found that scene that funny... I find stuff like what Jefe mentioned above much more funny. (Stuff where a pony will randomly spazz about something then faint. I always get a chuckle out of that.)

I will admit that Rarity has her moments and that is a pretty good one but the one LOL moment that has stuck with me for Rarity is this

Rarity is the funniest of the Mane Six for me. Yes, Pinkie is also hilarious and more consistently being funny, but when Rarity makes a tactically placed one liner or comment, it's awesome. It helps that Tabitha St. Germain has the best line delivery.

 

The entire third act of A Dog and Pony Show is my drug.

Personally, Rarity's whining is the funniest scene in my opinion, but each of those mentioned so far also could work. Another one is where she tosses Tom away (S2,E2) and says to never speak of it again. Of course, the memory is revisited moments later, much to her chagrin.

Actually, the first time I saw that clip, I thought that she had killed him. I was like, wat? Violence in a kids show? And then it showed that she had just plucked off a scale. And then I was like, 'OHHHHHHHHHH'.

Hm, never really thought of that moment as too funny tbh but it was freakin' awesome. My top favorite funny Rarity moments would probably be the times when she threatens to rip the dragons to pieces, when she says 'I'll destroy her!', the worst possible thing line, and when she tricks the Diamond Dogs by whining. Or, you know, everything she does except in Sonic Rainboom, but I forgive her.

What do you mean she is unappreciated? I love Rarity's humor! She is one of the funniest characters on the show. I espicially love her whining scene and when she says "I'LL DESTROY HER!" I cracked up so much at that.

 

Also, she didn't really stab the dragon. She just pulled off one of his scales to cut off her tail.

Rarity isn't one of the most popular mane 6 characters because most males just don't relate to her, or as I assume. I like her just fine, but I didn't pay much attention to her until later on. I do think she should have a little more merch. I also like her more than Fluttershy. (No hate)

I think Rarity's funniest moment that goes unappreciated, would have to be in Dog and Pony Show when they imagined Rarity underground with the dogs and it showed her screaming and yelling with dirt on her.

this was sooooo funny, and when she said "I made it work" suddenly hiding her desperation to have pride on her work was very funny

she's even funny in a song! who does that? when she saw applejack's dress, she called it a "nightmare" XD, that's so Rarity there
