The songs were bad, the artwork was OK and the final battle scene was terrible. She turned from good to bad in about 5 seconds. AND SPIKE WAS A DOG! A DOG!

Well if you take into account that it was already a cash-out, then when you really think about it...it was still pretty bad; not gonna lie.
Although I don't think it's as bad as people say it is, it doesn't do the show justice.

There was some cool stuff like the Trixie, Vinyl, Derpy cameos, The Cafeteria Song was catchy as all hell, and I really adore how they reenacted Futtershy's first scene.

But the lame fish outta water jokes, the real-life references and the what-the-fuck-how-does-this-world-even-work...stuff. Give it plenty of reasons to hate.

To summaries I don't regard watching it, in fact I'm glad I watched it. But I won't be watching it again.

5/10- Meh'! It was an okay movie with a few funny moments, some catchy songs and good voice acting. However, it also had a subpar plot, Sunset Shimmer was a shallow and uninteresting villain, Flash Sentry was a boring and personality-less waste of time, a pointless romantic sub-plot, several plot holes, the vice-principal Luna scene was solved way to quickly, I don't like the human designs, some parts had weird animation, how the human Mane 6 became Elements of Harmony made no sense and remains unexplained and Sunet Shimmer's redemption was way to quick and made no sense.

Rewatched the actual show proper at kids request and I was like   with a little  then  and finally

 

 

So I have a really hard time objectively rating Equestria Girls. I know ... bassackwards way to get into the show ... but stranger things have happened.

I'd say the movie itself gets about as 7/10 from me.

 

There was some good humor and it was all around fun to watch but there are the plot holes, and Flash Sentry.

 

So yeah about OK.

I thought it was good, and I liked it. Though it was obviously not the best movie EVER made. I give it a seven. So I will be watching Rainbow Rocks. Mostly out of curiosity though.

Honestly, I'd give it a 8.5/10.

Pros:

TWILIGHT!!!

I think their personalities matched.

To be honest, shows need enough violence for me, and it had a decent amount of violence.

THE DANG SONG!!!!

Decent plot.

 

Cons:

Is it me, or did Celestia and Luna look sorta chubby?

Like others have said, fail love story x3.

I kinda didn't enjoy the fact Sunset Shimmer was too stupid to hypnotise her friends...

I watched the film when it came out. I watched it after seeing the season one so I didn't get some points. I watched it again after seeing the season 2 and 3 and I enjoyed it. I watched it a third time with a friend, when he was watching the show. It was funny, there was good songs (especially "Helping Twilight Win the Crown"), there was french words (I only watch the show in original version)... It was good for me.

 

But, the ending was bad. Turning Sunset Shimmer into good in one hour ? Seriously ?

Making Spike a dog ? Really ? Sending Twily in an unknown world with no details and no support ? How would it be great ?

Where did Flash Sentry came from ? They wouldn't make this TwiSentry romance... A pure waste of time.

 

I would give it a 12.75/20 because 6.25 is not enough and 6.5 is too high.

But I enjoyed it anyway.

Well here's my opinion of the film.

Pros:

The truest depiction of the internet i have ever seen.

A few funny scenes.

Cons:

Twilight acting like an idiot.

Spike being smarter then Twilight

All of the other characters take a back seat to Twilight.

Cliched plot.

Hideous character models.

Terrible songs.

Flash Sentry.

Sunset being a terrible villain 

Mostly unfunny humour.

And to top it all off a terrible climax.

I give Equestria Girls a 3 out of 10.

Ok so most of the problems I had with the movie, people already covered that. I'm assuming i.e. I have to say though I liked it. Though it was ok. Wish some things were long and some thing were short and not needed. Now I have to ask, in the last part, when Rainbow Dash and the others was gowing wings and Ears, did anyone else shout out, "DIGIMODIFY! DIGIVOLUTION ACTIVATE!" at their screens. Cuz I did. Thjat so look like a digivolution scene. LOL

This was mounds better than the first. It wasnt perfect or anything and the music was mostly forgettable but Gosh darnet it was entertaining. The plot though predictable still was fun and I have all this repressed fangasaming for future stuff to come.

And Sunset Shimmer, Gurl you did good out there, I wanna see more of you and I want to see it soon. Also budding Sunset twilight shipping is on the horizon people, prepare for the rain of fanfics.

Edit: I'm a big fat fucking liar. I loved Rainbow Rocks. It was a good movie. But everyone else loved it so now I'm just following a trend like everyone else.

 

It has pacing problems but it's decent overall.
