You know you're a member when everyone is being rude to you when you are a newbie.

 

Aw, that's not right.  Newbies are prone to being overlooked until they've established themselves but rudeness shouldn't be a hallmark of MLP forums.

You know you were a member of MLP Forums back in 2012 and early 2013 when you were on a pony forum where only a few people were considered a Brony and absolutely no one was a Certified Brony.

 

You know that you're a member of MLP Forums when you suddenly realize that you're having a pleasant and intelligent conversation with someone who is 6 to 20 years older/younger than you.

 

You know that you're a member of MLP Forums when someone offers to make you a legitimate (and awesome) signature/avatar just because they noticed that you don't have one yet.

 

You know that you're a member of MLP Forums when you vow to reply to every single new thread in the Welcome Section, and then give up after a day and a half because there are just so many. (true story...)

~ someone brohoofs a post of yours from a year ago.

~ You get inside jokes of the forum.

~ The Skype group you're in posts member's profiles toi the group chat and everyone looks at them at the same time, so all your names appear in "Recent visitors" list

~ You can identify certain members by their posting style.

~ You're on here everyday.

~ You post in these kind of topics.
