if they are going to do all that crappy stuff, it would be pretty dumb. millions of people use youtube, and if they screw up the site, millions of people will leave, leaving them as the new google+.

it doesn't have to be the end, there are still lots of sites where you can watch streams of the new episodes, and you got forums and stuff!

If they ruin youtube they are the ones that are going to loose, there are other uploading sites like youtube. If this will be done, then everyone will stop using youtube.

 

Also, don't worry about the fandom. You can watch the episodes on dailymotion.com.

@Fluttershyfan94- My PC's busted, but at least my iPod Touch can use Dailymotion.

Moving to Dailymotion everyone!  Just follow the signs and you'll get there in no time!  Seriously, why are they so stupid!?  I already stopped using youtube as a user because I refuse to link my profile to that stupid google + thing.  Now, if they prevent the people I watch from uploading videos, you can be sure I'm getting the hell out of here.

From what this sounds like, this is going to screw many people over. AngryJoeShow? Done. Marikiplier? Done. Just those two alone can tell you how f*cked up this is. This does sound like SOPA was passed and I wouldn't be surprised. Nobody really cares about it anymore so the government probably sneaked it by.

 

I will wait and see exactly how this plays out first. Knowing the odds Angry Joe will be uploading a rant video about this if it is this bad. Youtube and Google are really starting to treat us like worthless peasants. Hey, kinda like the US government. Irony.

I don't see how exactly this is going to work out since the new gen consoles support streaming of live gameplay, and everyone will just turn their heads to Twitch or some similar streaming sites. Either-way, he said Google was having trouble with copyright issues from gaming companies, but I don't see how they could be since as long as the video maker gives credit to the gaming company it'll fall under the Fair Use policy for the US. SOPA and Protect IP haven't be passed, so there isn't a bill yet to stop them from uploading gameplay. Heck, I uploaded a gameplay video with music, crediting both, and haven't gotten a warning from Youtube.

 

I don't know, I guess we'll wait and see what Google decides to do, they'll sure have an explanation for it.

I am not sure if it is all over yet, But I am going to Open up a Dailymotion account now. I have been planning to make one as an "Emergency shelter" so now seems to be the best time. 

 

I still believe in that this can be "fixed" (blow over rather), But you never know.

I'm not too worried mainly because they are screwing themselves over. Sooner or later, Youtube is going to be to the point where people will leave and find a better place to watch videos. Thus, the only ones who suffer from that are Google. I am just going to continue hoping it fails.

I remember the old youtube back in like 2009. Man, those days were awesome. Then suddenly... they started to fix things. I think they should only 'add' things, that are optional, so if people don't like 'em they don't use them. But seriously, Youtube is slowly becoming MySpace 2.0.
