    Good evening...I don't know you and you don't know me but I will say the following I AM a veteran...a live, in-person veteran from the active duty military I too am a Socialist (doesn't mix well believe me) in the old days being a Socialist openly could cause you to lose security clearances and positions. Anyway...as a former solder I will say this You have every right to call me an industrial tool of the man...why? because you have that right I am so sick of these fanatical patriots who believe in the constitution but don't want to offer the free speech to those who don't agree. When I became a sergeant in the AF I was given some conflicting messages...and I followed the second 1. "SSgt G****, you are an NCO now.by virtue a leader. You need to perform and defend and blah blah." - Now I do believe this. NCO's are they linchpins...I believe NCO's are the leaders of the enlisted class and that's all fine... but then I heard something that made me feel like a REAL soldier 2. "SSgt G****, I'm going to tell you a secret. A real soldier is a person who will fight for the flag one day, and be proud that he gave a flag burner the right, the next day." THAT is a soldier. Fight for actual freedom...because guess what...some people won't agree with your ideas. OP, you're not a douche...if you did it to flame then yes you are...but if you believe it...then be who you are This soldier salutes your use of freedom of speech

    i'm sorry...running backs run over 26.2 miles every single day in the season? And football players don't do distance running...they do short sprints for each play. Bear in mind I am not saying it isn't hard...I sure couldn't do it but running backs don't run long distances each game. Adrian Peterson ran 296 yards in one game...long distance doesn't usually get considered long distance until 1-3 miles (depends who you are asking)...Peterson didn't even run that in once session...it was constant plays...now again...I want to stress that I could NEVER do this...especially with people tackling me all the time...but 300 yards is not long distance Also, I am gonna have to say no I don't believe running backs run more than 26.2 miles every single day could you show me where you got this info? With that said I would say ultra runners or soccer players...soccer players were estimated to run between 10-15k each 90-minute match...and they are always switching directions...and after running my marathon (Duluth in 2005) I discovered just how hard that actually was

    well you get an A for a good opinion and an A+ for music choice see here is part of what I disliked about the idea of the christian god (or others for that matter...though not all) So supposedly god puts us all down here on Earth and say we have free will...however you must abide by his rules to enter into the everlasting. Ok I can handle that. It's really like law is here on Earth or in America. We HAVE the free will to murder our neighbor...but things will happen if we do (ie, jail time or the death sentence) Ok so moving past that let's dig a little deeper No god, as is stated many times over is all-seeing and all-knowing. He KNOWS the choices of men and knows what they will be. That to me does not equate to free will. It equates to an all-powerful father figure watching a rerun. See the thing is I don't mind god or gaia or whatever you choose to believe in (if at all) setting ground rules. It's like saying, you can do what you want, but you won't gain access to my kingdom if you don't act right. Ok that's fair...but when this same figure is all knowing and knows your destiny, then how is it free will? Unless of course he doesn't know your destiny...in which case a whole other off topic dilemma begins

    I'd have to agree. As a masters level counselor who is working on hypno certs I would say you have it pretty darn right. I cannot wait until my certification is done...although I need tons of cash to get there but that's another story point is...right on what you said here

    not at all...but this show isn't my friendships...if my friends do something that is better than something I do...I applaud them...I hope they get even better This show however is different. To me it's all about equality and it is my opinion that this changes everything..so it's my prerogative to think the show's been ruined... but as I have said otherwise, I will watch the first few eps of S4 to see how they handle thing But I freely admit this show isn't made to please me...if the majority is happy with an alicorn Twilight then so be it...I just won't be sticking around for me...again just opinion of mine that's all

    sorry if you don't like it...it;s just my opinion. I see the alicorns as a step above the other ponies and I didn't think TS deserved to be placed on a pedestal...like I have said in the threads...it's my opinion TS is no better than the others and this really burns me

    You hit it on the head for me...I feel like a tool ranting and raving about this but it really ruined this show for me and will continue to do so if this isn't fixed/reversed The ponies are equal to me...not equal with one better

    season 2 for me Except for the Granny Smith and baby cakes episodes which I can't stand It had a good mixture of episodes and a lot of hilarity. It had Discord and Cadence episodes... Total broken record here...but Season three has the worst ending they could have possibly made (IMO of course)...she should have never been risen above the other mane 6

    none of them....none of the mane six should be on a pedestal. To me that is what this show is about, friendship and equality...not the so-called 'leader' becoming something more and better than her friends I know I am in a mini-fury right now...but this ruined a lot for me...I admit it

    And this is precisely the reason she should have never become an alicorn/princess. What a load. Again as I stated in the other, it's my opinion but look at what happens. This show is about ALL of them, yet somehow TS gets to be a princess? To me that is stating that each of them are great...but not as good as TS To me the only wany this can be fixed is by one of a few methods 1. All the mane six become alicorns - problem is this would be a cheap and pathetic set of episodes and the show would become meaningless 2. The alicorn business is temporary and wears off - I would like this as a result because it would mean that TS is just the same as the other 3. She declines being an alicorn or princess - This is my preferred method. This would be TS admitting she is no better than the other 5 that have done a lot to help out Ponyville and Equestria I don't believe TS is the leader...she is just part of the group And before anyone asks, I wouldn't have wanted any of the mane six to be alicorns I admit...I am really seriously disappointed in this show right now...if it doesn't get fixed, I don't know how much more I will watch of it sorry for the whiney rant...I am just very unhappy with what I believe to be a sad turn to a great show

    and I thank you for that..i mean no offense but a good portion of the internet loves to tout abstract opinions as fact...((hint hint...political arguments)) And that's cool that you don't agree...would be quite boring if all we did was agree I agree completely...I feel each of the mane 6 are exactly equal...yet somehow TS gets to be a princess now? what a crock...I won't lie...if they don't fix this I don't know how I will feel about the remainder of season 4

    I'm not walking away from the fandom...but this alicorn thing makes me mad...TS shouldn't be any more special tan the mane 6 and I will always stick to that so yeah I am not pleased at all I will feel much better if S4 returns her to a unicorn. well we shall see As far as now what...well I watch the old eps like always...including my recording of the original derpy reference :-)

    absolute crap IMO and I will tell you why...and yes it is personal I understand that Twilight Sparkle is the lynch pin of the group...that's fine...she found all the members and is the element of magic My problem is (and again this is personal opinion...deal) that I don't think that gives her the right to rise above the rest. I don't think TS is any more special than any other of the mane 6. I realize this sounds whiny...and that is fine...I hate this idea I hope it isn't permanent...please don't let it be

    I've only ever had one pony dream but I loved it I was in sort of a partners competition...games, sports...blah blah Anywho, it was a human matched with one pony...we didn't win but my partner was Pinkie Pie...it was a superb dream
