  1. Writing to Marvel's online support because the digital redemption codes aren't giving me the right comics
  2. 10/10 Correct me if I'm wrong but is that JoJo's bizarre adventure?
  3. It's been awhile everypony

  4. Parasaurolophus, because it just shouts majestic. From it's crest to it's hypothetical trumpeting to its...its...well just look at it!
  5. My favorite is probably "Hearts as Strong as Horses" because I love the drive and the strength that the music has. After that, "I'll Fly" was a good one and so was "Welcome to the Show." That song just makes me happy when I picture the giant rainbow alicorn showing up in the sky to end the song and it's amazing
  6. As far as I can tell, yeah. Just like Derpy, I might not be in the best spot in life because I mess up, sometimes making fairly large mistakes. But regardless of that I still try to do what I can to help and I do my best to get by. And I'm just going by her few appearances and her show canon. "I'm a bit of a screw-up, but I'll still do my best."
  7. Derpy is my absolute favorite pony. Don't ask why, because I don't rightfully know, something just clicked and I thought "I like that pony." She just is. I'll go down the list for your points now though. 1. It honestly does feel a lot like Derpy is the face of the fandom. I came into the show around the beginning of season 3 and Derpy was pretty much the only character I knew of on the fandom side of it besides Rainbow Dash and Pinkie. And while the latter two are both great ponies, the show has developed them. Derpy I feel is the mascot of the fandom because of the amount of development the unexpected audience gave to a specific background pony. The same might be said about Vinyl or Lyra, but there's just something about Derpy that is just iconic to the fandom. Also, liking something mainstream doesn't make you a sheep. It's like saying somebody is a sheep for having Twilight as a favorite because she's essentially the main character, it's just not true or a very nice thing to say 2. I also missed the whole debacle on Derpy but I started watching around season 3 and joined the fandom around Equestria Girls. So while I may have missed out on the whole veteran attachment thing, I don't feel that it's an important reason to like the character or dislike her 3. I feel like this one is just being petty. Hating on her because she figuratively stole the spotlight from a mane 6 episode just seems mean. Yes, a lot of people were upset about the episode, and it reflects on unnecessary TV censorship in general. I don't have a lot to say about this one besides the petty. It was the first real appearance of a popular background pony and that was in fact a big deal. But you shouldn't let it detract anything from your overall enjoyment of the episode
  8. I'd love to see her return and have a positive role like she's been having in the comics. I've been trying my hardest to avoid future episode spoilers so when somebody appears its somewhat unexpected
  9. Sigh, trying to go to sleep since I have an opening shift when I go back to work in the morning but insomnia's been killing me lately
  10. I pre-order quite a bit actually. But it's more for "I have the money now, might not when it releases" sort of stuff. So I only pre-order games that I know I'll be getting, preferably at launch. Except I did pre-order the deluxe edition of Smash Bros WiiU for the Gamecube controller and adapter
  11. Honestly, I'll get it. But I don't like the fact that it's a Metroid game, let alone the fact that it's a Prime game. While finding out some story behind the Fed Troopers sounds mildly interesting, chibi troopers and mech soccer doesn't fit (doomed mission to Aether anybody?). And it's been mentioned earlier that without Samus and no story advancement for her, it's a giant slap in the face of the fans. It's like playing a Zelda game from the perspective of a guard, except there's no Link. Or Ganon, or Zelda. And there's no dungeons. Is it still a Legend of Zelda game at that point?
  12. Well, today I was sick, hot, dehydrated, tired, and hungry. So everything made me angry. I think every third or fourth word I was dropping an f-bomb. I yelled that special C word and various other profanities at people on the tv for about 5 minutes because my mom had turned on Real Housewives of Orange County. But I'm now laying in bed after eating 5 popsicles and drinking some ice water so I'm feeling much better. Now I'd just like the millers to quit flying into me so I could sleep
  13. They've just accepted it as another one of my oddities. I've been on my own long enough that while they may not understand something, they'll accept that I have enough of a handle on life where I can do my own thing
  14. I watched Chappie a couple nights ago. Wasn't as good as I thought it was gonna be but it was still pretty awesome
  15. Oh, I'm not attributing it to that entirely. It's an internet fandom so there's bound to be at least a few people that ship something super early. For example, I'm pretty sure I've seen some Tree Hugger/Discord around since the episode. I was attributing the explosion in popularity to it as the person who is essentially Celestia herself announced it directly to a high numbered gathering
  16. This was actually a question put up at the voice actors panel at Everfree Northwest this past weekend. Nicole Oliver herself answered it too. She said after the the episode reforming Discord and all the Fluttercord shippers showing up, she made a joke at a closely following convention that it should be Celestia and Discord because she was such a big fan of de Lancie. So she started an Oliver/de Lancie ship and the fandom ran with a Celestia/Discord ship
  17. So, I was once having a normal day to day conversation with my dad when I was visiting home for the weekend. Just talking and instead of saying everybody, everypony slipped out. I continued because I didn't even realize it. He stopped me, asked what I just said and it finally hitting me, I backpedaled and told him I said everybody. He called me out on it and said I should probably take a break from the show for a bit
  18. No sir, I didn't like it. I really don't like hippies and I've given a few a chance so I can't say I haven't at least tried. In my experience the hippie stereotypes exist for a reason, and they hit that character perfect with all of them. Everything about the character was exactly what I find so annoying and bothersome about actual hippies
  19. I've seen good ones and I've seen bad ones. But mostly ones that I've liked
  20. First bronies I met was a long time before I was one. It was at a college club's 60 hour LAN party where they played the first episode (not the first 2, just the first) on repeat about 6 times starting at 3 in the morning on one of the projector screens when everybody was trying to sleep. Almost didn't become a brony simply because of these guys. But, I did in the end so it all worked out
  21. 10 minutes from now I'll be laying in bed playing through a level in Kid Icarus before I go to sleep
