    Anonymous is legion. We are everywhere. We are everyone. Anon is 4chan. Oldfag here, completely and utterly disgusted by the newfag 4chan that we see these days. I remember when 4chan was unfilitered and god knows what you found in there. As for mainstream? Completely not. Most people are vaguely aware of us, but for the majority they just brush it off as nothing.

    Applejack for me. I grew up country, so I know pretty much her core values and beliefs. I don't do a whole lotta cattle branding or butchering anymore, but I still know it enough that I could go back to it at any day in the future.

    For Hasbro, about the only thing I can think of that came before the toyline was the Small Soldiers line. The movie came out, and the Toyline launched to support the movie. But for all the other shows, Transformers, and My Little Pony, the the toys came first, and then the shows came to help promote and sell the toys. Kind of like the Sonic the Hedgehog series that ran in the 90's to help support Sega. And then there was Sonic X which ran parrallel to Sonic Adventure 2.

    Smoking a wonderful blend of tobacco. Yes, I roll my own cigarettes, there's an artform to it, and if you get the right blend it's a delightful experience.

    Yea, I remember seeing bits and pieces of the G1 ponies growing up as well. I have a few female cousins who watched it. I remember there was a zebra. For some reason that's all I can remember, is a dang zebra.

    Alright, let's power up the bass cannon here. First and foremost, temporary society honestly has desensitized us enough towards cursing that it's accepted almost common place. Growing up I remember if a movie said the f word once it would automatically get an R rating. Now adays you can watch a regular TV show on primetime television and hear a variety and plethora of four letter words. Myself? Do I swear? All the f*cking time. I don't swear because I'm desensitized towards peoples feelings, or that I am rude, I swear, because it's a part of the culture I'm in. Specifically the military culture. We all swear copious amounts. For some reason, trying to get your point across using adjectives other than f*cking just doesn't work. For instance, tell private joe snuffy to clean his room, he would be like yea, pfft. As opposed to, PRIVATE, CLEAN YOUR F*CKING ROOM NOW! That gets the sense of urgency and the fact that you will not put up with his bs. I know the modern day military is trying to shift away from the profanity, but it's just never going to work out, as there are still too many of us left over from the wars before the hearts and minds military came out. Do I notice when someone swears around me? Quite contrary, I notice if someone isn't swearing around me, and usually again, due to the military culture we make fun of them. Poke prod and joke. But if you guys think I have a foul mouth, head on towards your nearest Army or Marine Corps base and go visit any infantry company, and see some professional guidance from their First Sergeant. He'll really, really impress you with his vocabulary. Usually consists of 27 F words to three to four non swear words.

    I would go with the toyline. I never got into the history of the MLP series of toys, as I never cared enough because let's face it, growing up a male in caucasian redneck dominated Idaho, you don't play with pony toys. I've never even heard of friendship gardens honestly, I know throughout the years they attempted to make new shows, and honestly until I watched FiM I never knew there was a difference between the ponies.

    It is called mainstream for a reason... Kind of like in every mainstream action flick theres a guy, and a girl, and the guy shoots a lot of people, and gets the girl.

    I daresay you did. I joined the fandom last month. I started watching the show in January out of pure curiosity, but the fandom will never truly die, kind of like doom 2's fanbase will never go away.

    Well, in honor of May the 4th be with you, I'm going to post an ancient Battle.net Signature I made a long time ago. I don't even remember what the clan's name was that's how old this is. Also, I like simple backgrounds with my renders so I'll let you photoshop pro pony's critique it. I haven't had a Photoshop installed on my PC since pentium 4's just so you know.

    Obviously Twilight. She's the focal character of the show, and she is the most dynamic with her character development. The others are actually mostly static, Rainbow Dash is the one who has changed the most IMO besides Twilicorn.
