How orderly are you?

A look across my messy room has made me ponder how many of you are orderly and neat.

 

One of my best friends is so bent on order that he can't get tasks done without first organizing everything. EVERYTHING. On the other side of the spectrum, you have me - my room is in perpetual mess, my usual answer when asked about how i locate everything in it is "I'll find it eventually, if it still exists".

 

So where do you stand on being neat and orderly?

Well I'm messy in a way but still only when it comes to my room. I keep myself and my car clean so I'm not a complete chaos. I guess I'm not bad but not good. Lol

Well, I know where to find everything but at first glance I don't think anyone else would. But trust there is method in my madness!

I'm fairly neat when it comes to organization, and the only thing that is usually messy is my desk, and that's only because there's paper from Geometry work everywhere. 

But, other than that, I'm fairly organized to the point where my shirts in my closet are organized by series. Messy things just make me uncomfortable and worried.

If you are chaotic enough things find you.  Of course other things fall through the dimensional portal and you do not see them again for years.  I once lost a pair of shoes only to find them about 15 years later.  I wonder where they are now?

In my personal life I can be somewhat messy but nothing crazy but at work it is a very different story. Both out of necessity and because something about that job activates my OCD side caused me to be fairly organized on the job. I work as a dairy clerk in a grocery store and empty milk crates are supposed to be wrapped in plastic and stacked outside the cooler door on wooden pallets in a particular part of the back room to be later picked up on a delivery truck and brought back to the warehouse. Sometimes there is no room so these pallets are often kept outside the cooler door temporarily. Other dairy clerks tend to delay wrapping these pallets and putting them in the proper place which drives me nuts because it creates unnecessary clutter and makes it difficult to find room for addition empty milk crates. I prefer to get them out of the way as soon as possible and that is also the case for a lot of other things as well.

I'd describe myself as "Organised". 

Considering I've adopted Discord as my icon to represent myself on the forum, contrary to all that I actually consider myself a very orderly person. I can't say I'm over the top with my orderliness, but there is never any harm in organising oneself. And it makes things much smoother and easier to boot!

 

Orderliness to the point of compulsiveness isn't a good thing in my opinion, but with that said, having no order whatsoever can make things quite difficult also. I'm sure those who have needed to look for a lost item in amongst a mess of loot can relate.

My room isn't that bad right now. The only thing is my bed isn't made, I usually always make it before I leave for school but it Veterans Day so I didn't feel like it since ya know, no school today. There's my clothes from yesterday on the floor, a couple binders and a hot cocoa mug as well. It's a little messy, but everything else is in order.

 

I can stand a little disorganization, but if it's really bad I'll start to get all panicky. I don't like chaos and messes that are real eye sores.

I like having a very tidy room. it makes me feel more comfortable. I even have the pens sorted by size and colour.

Well, I'm pretty random. I'll toss my dirty clothes on the floor of my bedroom, and not clean up some stuff, but at my full-time job, I get really OCD if something looks messy.
