Now that they've finally received their cutie marks, the Cutie Mark Crusaders struggle with the question of what's next; the friends do not all agree on how to embrace their destinies.

 

Gauntlet of Fire

In order to save his friends, Spike is forced to compete in a perilous Gauntlet for the title of Dragon Lord.

 

 

What are your thought on these.

 

The CMC one sounds very nice and it's a great continuity of where we left off from the time, where they got their cutie marks. Looks promising.

 

When it comes to the Spike Episode, i admit it looks nice and the title is even a little reference, to my favorite Harry Potter Book "Goblet of Fire." But i expect so little out of a Spike Episode. Could probably be a rehash of Power Ponies and that would be enough for me, to be honest.

Sweet! Both of these episodes sound pretty interesting. Especially the CMC one. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how they will develop from here on out and that episode sounds like it will open up some intriguing opportunites for the crusaders. I am also looking forward to the Spike episode if for nothing else than to see some more dragons and hopefully get some nice world building. So far the season already looks like it is going to be interesting. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

The CMC one sounds nice. It's good to continue the development of that new arc for them.

 

The Spike one has potential. It all depends on the execution. I want this one to be good and hope that this will be one of the outliers for your typical Spike episode.

You know, i just thought about it.

 

The Writers obviously want to show that Spike isn't useless and want to present him as a big superhero.

 

While i appreciate the effort, that's not really the fandoms problem. I think our problem is simply, that he is just never utilized into the main plot and he most likely never will.

 

I think if i where in charge, i would just simply say that i have nothing special planned for spike, because let us be honest, once this episode is over, it's back to business for Spike as usual.

 

He is a good side character, but i would like to see none of him in a main role again.

Yay! Cutie Mark Crusaders forever! Nice theme...fits for me because Ivewalways enjoyed acting but I've struggled what to do with it, whether to teach or persue it professionally...I'm sure others have thus struggle once they find thei "cutie mark."

-Spike has a fallout with the ponies

-Spike thinks that the ponies don't care about him

-Ponies get kidnapped

-Spike saves them

-Spike realizes how important ponies are to him...again

Expected. Obviously, their one true destiny is to merge into a powerful alicorn Princess of Destiny (also known as Captain Cutie) that shall protect the realm of Equestria from some stuff.

To ease all that terrible weight of designing all things dragon, our glorious writers decide that an inexperienced baby with no knowledge of dragon culture becomes a Dragon Lord and teaches those buffoons the power of friendship … Also expected. Let us hope ponies bring along a lot of dragon repellant to keep those greedy predators at bay ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Gauntlet of Fire sounds a bit random, but given that the god-awful Princess Spike was the only episode Spike got in season 5, I'm more than happy for an episode that displays his competence and dragon badassery.

When was that confirmed? It was something that was hyped by the fandom itself and the fandom took it as confirmed.

 

This show is still a slice of life show and the adventure aspect is still secondary.

The Spike episode...well, it's a Spike episode. I'll give the writers the benefit of the doubt, which is truly the limit of my generosity considering the previous Spike episodes.
