Episodes 25 and 26 won't count since the finale is obviously gonna star Starlight and accomplishing something as Twilight's student.

 

Ok first there was the premiere which was mostly a Starlight episode, then we had a Pinkie / Rarity episode, a CMC / Apple Bloom episode, a Spike episode, another Starlight episode, a Rainbow episode, and yet another Starlight episode, and next up we have a Rarity episode, an AJ episode, a Flutters episode, and another Pinkie / Rarity episode. So what's up next? Hopefully not another Rarity episode because we need the other characters to catch up.

 

Normally the characters of this show have at least three episodes, and sometimes a lucky Mane Six member gets a fourth. We still need at least two more Rainbow episodes, two more Fluttershy episodes, two more AJ episodes, one more Pinkie episode, and two or three more CMC episodes. Spike is already confirmed to have two more episodes this season, and Twilight hasn't really had an episode to herself yet, and Discord usually has at least one episode per season; also I wouldn't be surprised if Starlight had a couple more episodes in the second half of the season before the finale.

 

I'm not sure how it'll work, but I'm sure some of the Mane Six will have episodes together. If the second Rarity and Pinkie episode is a cutie map episode, then that means the other two are going to be Twilight and Rainbow, and Applejack and Fluttershy (not Rainbow and AJ cause that would mean Twilight and Flutters would have a second cutie map episode together, which won't seem right). 

 

The final Pinkie episode is obviously going to be an episode to herself since every Mane Six has an episode to themselves. The Discord episode is usually Discord and another Mane Six (normally Fluttershy), hopefully this time it'll be him and a Mane Six he hasn't had an episode with yet; or better yet, him and Starlight! They're both reformed antagonists, but unlike Disocrd, the Mane Six seems to give reformed Starlight more attention than him (other than Fluttershy), so it wouldn't be surprising if Discord actually doesn't like Starlight.

 

I'm REALLY hoping one of the Spike episodes has him sharing an episode with Starlight! They really got along in The Crystalling! I'd like to see them bond again, but without having another character getting in the way between them. Either that, or Spike might bond with Starlight in the finale instead, but we'll see. Spike episode number three might either star himself or another Mane Six, or the CMCs. If it's a Mane Six, I hope it's not Twilight or Rarity - he has too many episodes with them.

 

As for the CMCs, it's been a long time since we seen Sweetie Belle or Scootaloo have episodes to themselves! It's either been the CMCs or Apple Bloom; we should have the other two CMCs have their chances to shine again! Also the last two Scootaloo episodes seem to have the other CMCs appear a majority of the time, so hopefully the next Scoots episode would focus more on her bond with Rainbow Dash, without the other crusaders in the way. Babs is returning, as seen in a Facebook image promo on the official FB page, so one of the CMC episodes are most likely taking place in Manehattan!

 

Tl;dr

I know this was a pretty long post, but basically I was giving my opinion on what the second half of the season might be like. What kind of episodes do you think we're going to have, and who's going to star in them?

I think we're going to get one "Focus" episode per pony this season, and 2 Duo episodes.

Rarity got a duo episode with Pinkie in the gift of maud pie, and saddle and row is going to be rarity's solo episode. So the episode of her and pinkie helping a resteraunt is probably her last

 

Rainbow dash has her Solo episode wasted on that pile of trash called newbie dash, so she'll have 2 duo episodes coming up. Sadface at her having an episode wasted on newbie dash, that is literally possibly the worst episode of the entire series. There's one on the Flight episodes DVD called the fault in our cutie marks that MIGHT have her in it, since she's in all the other episodes on that DVD (though I think that one might be a CMC episode)

 

Fluttershy has her Brother episode coming up, so she should have 2 duo episodes after that; Assuming that the Resteraunt episode up above with pinkie and rarity is a map episode, Fluttershy might get a map episode too.

 

Twilight has had 2 episodes with Starlight glimmer so far. Sorry to say twilight, but I Think your episodes allotment was sacrificed to glim glim this season, so expect 1 more episode this season. Maybe a map episode.

 

Pinkie pie had a duo episode with rarity and another episode with Rarity and the resteraunt. I think she'll get one more too.

past that, Expect one discord episode, one Luna episode, Probably another cadence, one to two more CMC episodes, and then possibly another Starlight episode.
For the finale, its going to be "THE STARLIGHT AND TWILIGHT POWER HOUR SHOW" with the other five missing again past about maybe 1 minute of cameos. Celestia damnit.

- No more Applebloom episodes. Seriously, I find her uninteresting and yet she continues to get more episodes while Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle keep getting zilch

- Cut back on Rarity. Seriously, I know it's probably hyperbole but it feels like she's everywhere this season

- A Rainbow Dash episode that makes up for Newbie Dash in spades, which is sounding damn near impossible right now. Like, fucking hell, they pretty much took a shit on a moment/arc worth 6 years of build-up, and practically ruined it to the point where I'm not even sure where else they can go, or if I even want to see it continue anymore

- I heard Daring Do might be showing up again this season, I'm gonna take a guess and say she'll be in a map episode with Rainbow and Twilight, leaving AJ with Fluttershy

- Scootalove. If there's any thing that can make up ND for me, it's this

As much as I'd like to see a Scootaloo episode, I really want to put my hopes in for Princess Celestia. A big character like herself still yet to have her own episode... it's just odd now. I'd sure like to gain more knowledge of Celestia's and Luna's history; Where they really came from, what they really went through, etc. It's dying to have either an episode just dedicated for Celestia, or both Celestia and Luna.

 

Come on, Hasbro, make it happen already. I mean this could work in the season 6 finale. We've already got yet another female Alicorn, so let's dig into Celestia's and Luna's history properly. I know many aren't keen on Celestia, but I think it would be awesome to know more about them both.

Maybe there'll be an episode fleshing out what happened at the end of the Crystalling (the changeling) and hinting what will happen in the finale. I'm guessing there will also be an Applejack episode and hopefully another Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy episode. No more Rarity please. I love Rarity, but she is getting too much focus lately. I'm also guessing there will be a Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle episode, but that's more of a wish if anything.

Like others in this thread, I'm also hoping for a Scootaloo episode, and I'm actually going to make a half-hope, half-prediction that "The Fault In Our Cutie Marks" is going to be it. The reasons why are because having the words "cutie mark" in the title usually seem to indicate that it'll be a CMC episode, and it's also going to be on an upcoming Rainbow Dash themed DVD. The other episodes listed on that disc all feature her with a different character, these being Gilda, Fluttershy, Twilight, and the Wonderbolts. The only thing missing that would logically make it complete is an episode with her and Scoots, and since they omitted previous episodes like "Flight to the Finish", I wonder if that also suggests that this upcoming one is a Scootadash story.

 

My idea for the premise is that the episode will officially confirm Scootaloo as permanently flightless, which would once again see the show honouring one of Lauren Faust's original intentions. Obviously heartbroken by this news, Scootaloo starts to wonder if there is a "fault in her cutie mark", because what else could the wing and lightning bolt represent if she'll never be able to fly? This gives the CMC a new cutie mark problem to solve, likely with Rainbow Dash's help, and since the problem concerns one of their own, that makes it their most challenging and personal one yet.

 

Again, this is more of a hope for the episode's premise rather than a prediction. It could be something entirely different (my predictions are more often wrong than right), but I just thought I'd put my idea out there.

No Second Prances tried to do it, but in my opinion it failed by bringing back the original Twilight 2.

 

I also want a Celestia episode, but we're never getting that. I gave up hope a long time ago, so maybe more Diamond Tiara? Whatever it is, I wish for a great season, and they're not doing bad at it for now, with amazing episodes such as On Your Marks, The Gift of the Maud Pie and Hearth's Warming Tale.

I'm hoping for some episodes that will further the character development for Big Macintosh. He explained his desires to be a hero like Applejack last season so I hope they follow up on that and help him get closer to that goal, such as having to step in and do a heroic deed when Applejack is unable to.
