What kind of notification do you like the best?

I love all notifications. But if I were to pick one, it'll have to be quotes. It's always nice seeing other people quote me and see what they have to say about my opinion. Plus, they're just satisfying to receive. Brohoofs don't feel that special, but PMs make me rather nervous.

I kinda like the brohoofs. Most of the others could go either way. My least favorite have to be the status updates, except from the users who actually post meaningful status updates. Every day posting "good morning" and "good night" qualifies as status spam to me because of how it inflates the notification numbers.

PM'S are my favorite. Although I don't get them often. I like a conversationalist, not just a few words, since I tend to provide more information than is needed.

Quotes, because just brohoofing a post doesn't mean anything to me. I'm sure you all have noticed I have given 0 brohoofs, and I never will. Brohoofs to me are like Likes on facebook, worthless. If you truly are vested in something enough, reply to it, and show genuine interest.

But I'll have to say the quote. Because most of the times when I do get a PM, it's either someone asking me to do something or someone telling me to stop doing something. The first thing that usually pops into my mind when I see I got a message is "ugh, what have I done now.."

I have it assigned to only send me notifications for Quotes, Brohoofs, Mentions, Replies to status updates, and RP updates....

 

-brohoofs are worthless to me but I like seeing them...

-quotes and mentions I sometimes look at depending where I was getting mentioned or quoted from...

-replies to status updates I sometimes look at depending on who is replying....

 

so I'd say my RP updates since I'm a huge Roleplayer

yep... you and me both friend.... I would always get in trouble with staff for doing stupid things that shouldn't even be against the rules when I first joined...

I like it when someone is adding me as a friend quotes me on a comment and if someone is pming me.

 

Status updates can be nice, but i admit that i don't care about certain status updates.

 

Brohoofs are a nice confirmation that my comment is good, but it really dosen't tell me why it's good.

PMs are always my favorite notification. It means somebody actually took time out of their day to talk to me, and me alone. Makes me feel special, even if it is just a friendly chat about rocks, or college life
