If you told your past self you would like My Little Pony, how would they react?

Kid me would have said: "I'm still going to like this show when I grow up? Adults aren't supposed to watch it!"

Adult me: "Lol, you silly filly."

My past self could never believe it. The fact that I associated with MLP fans would make him think that I am as "disgusting as an American", and would parrot religious slogans to force me out of my habits. Otherwise, he would avoid me.

To be completely honest, I probably wouldn't have cared as much as others would. If it's my future self, than what could I do to stop it? I wouldn't want too, if he told me it was the best thing to ever happen to him, which it is.

If that happened, said guy from then would likely respond differently depending on how far back you go. If it was, say, 10 years ago I would ask further questions because at that time I was watching Generation 3, unsurprised by the news. If it was more like, a year before I started, I would heavily research the topic and figure out what's going on to see if it's right for me, even if I wasn't against it. If it was about 5 years ago I'd be pretty surprised but then move on. But no matter what, my gut reaction would be "Get the fuck outta here, psychopath! How the hell did you reach me!?

Future Me: Hi! I'm from the future, and I like My Little Pony

2nd Grade (or so) Me: *laughs*

2nd Grade (or so) Me: *slaps Future Me's face*

2nd Grade (or so) Me: *follows up with a backhand*

2nd Grade (or so) Me: Mommyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Before 2012 and bronies I would have said bs but afterwards I wouldn't second guess it. I always intrigued by bronies and the concept it just took until 8 months ago (wow time flies) that I acted on that intrigue

Depends on how far back. Super past me would have called present-me gay, and then would have started questioning his sexuality, because back then I was an idiot. A few years ago-me would have just been really surprised, I think. And then I would have tried out the show, and gotten into the fandom sooner.

Knowing me... In all honesty I would probably rage at myself at first then immediately stop caring, start asking how I time traveled, and then time travel hijinks would probably ensue with two of me to mess with the time-space continuum even more than it has already been messed with and I'd probably end up with a pet velociraptor..... Probably not a good idea to send me back in time to tell myself anything. The universe can barely handle one of me as is... Let alone me with an army of prehistoric animals... I refuse to grow up!

My past self... would freak out, as I hated anything pink and princess-y, I was more into rock-climbing and adventure things, survival and that kind of blah. I still am though. Then I would tell her about Rainbow Dash and Luna and she would be interested I think. Actually, I'd think she'd be more freaked out about me rather than MLP

Before I first heard of FiM? "Wait, what? Why?!", after I heard of it? "Oh...well, I guess I did decide to check it out then". I had this curiosity to check it out, but never really did until a year or two later :P

Well, depends on how long ago it was, if I told my little kid self that, I doubt he would be surprised, because I remember playing with my little pony dolls as a kid, if I told myself from 3 years ago that, I doubt he'd be happy.

I would be smart enough to realize that my future self would be correct, and I couldn't change what was going to happen, so I would go look up MLP and start watching episodes. Really, is there any reason to worry or freak out about the future?
