I voted Fluttershy, Luna, and then DJ-Pon3. If it was in order of 1, 2, 3, then I would've gone Fluttershy, Luna and Applebloom, but due tot he manner at which the selections were made, I chose how I chose.

Hmmm... everypony is just awesome XD . But, Twilight Sparkle is my absolute favorite, yup <3 . Mainly because I can relate to her a lot, we both had to go through "schools for gifted children", late befriending people etc. I love how devoted she is to studies, and her relationship with Princess Celestia is really respectful. She's indeed very mature, and organized. She's just 20% cooler =P . I also love her lack of social skills.

 

Out of mane six, the second after Twilight would come Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Not really need to explain why I love these amazing pegasi! RD is just awesome, and as to Fluttershy... she's just super cute, and just like Twi, I can relate to her quite a bit.

 

For the other ponies from the show... hmm...

 

I'm very fond of Scootaloo. She's, by far, my favorite Crusader. She's just like her "big sis" RD, unquestionably, undeniably, UNSTOPABLE =D . Somehow, she's a tomboy of the group, and that makes her awesome.

 

I also like Spitfire, Lyra, DJ Pony, Derpy (<3), and some more.

 

Oh, and Luna is my favorite princess, of course! I just love her!

My favourite pony is Fluttershy, but I also like Rarity. I can't decide! My favourite background pony is Time Turner (Or Doctor Whooves) because Doctor Who is another one of my favourite shows!

Of the mane six, it's a hard choice. I love Fluttershy for how cute she is, but personality-wise I love Applejack. I think if I had to pick a favourite though, it'd be Pinkie Pie. She's pretty much opposite to me in personality and watching her kind of reminds me to lighten up sometimes!

I freakin' love this guy, so much that the only ponies I like more then him are Fluttershy and Rarity. I have no clue why, either. He's just that awesome.

From the Mane 6, Fluttershy is my favorite. Just because she's awesome and stuff.

Then comes Rainbow Dash. Who is also awesome.

Rarity is my fave of the mane 6, she feels like she has the most depth to me. Cadence is my favorite secondary, even if people do hate the wedding episode. Don't care! ^.^

I like Aloe and Lotus a lot. They have the same eye shape as Rarity, and I just think it's the most asthetically pleasing.

Twilight Sparkle, definitely. Mainly for two reasons:

1. She's more or less the pony Rule 63 version of me, especially in Season 1. (well, maybe toss in some Fluttershy to the mix.) That makes her the most relatable pony for me. I was always focused on studies even in my first years of school, so that coupled with my natural shyness and the rampant bullying in our school made me (almost) friendless. But as time went by, I eventually made more friends just like Twi, although my circle of friends is still relatively small. Also, I can get super-stressed over little things as well, like Twi in Lesson Zero and It's About Time.

2. She's a character I can look up to. As someone who struggles with social anxiety, I find contemplating her friendship lessons quite helpful in dealing with people in my everyday life. I love her leadership qualities and her level-headed and rational nature, traits that I highly respect in people and strive to attain personally. Whenever she gains great success like in The Crystal Empire and Magical Mystery Cure, I am inspired to become a better person generally.

 

I think Pinkie Pie deserves a special mention. When I first started to become a brony, Pinkie Pie was my second least favorite out of the Mane 6, mainly because I didn't like her brand of humor and oftentimes I found her quite annoying. And watching episodes like Feeling Pinkie Keen and A Friend In Deed left a sour taste in my mouth. But with stress piling up in my academic and social life, I began to appreciate Pinkie's light approach to life. When I have a really bad day, I just play the Smile song, and her crazy antics slowly started to become a mood-lifter instead of an annoyance. Pinkie is now my second favorite character.

Out of the mane 6, I picked Fluttershy. She is one of the main reasons why I got hooked into the fandom in the first place, and, like her, I am fairly quiet, and I like nature and music.

 

But, in a way, I can actually relate to Big Mac a little more, in the sense that I am quiet, but unlike Fluttershy, I am not exactly shy, I just don't have much to say. Putting Big Mac at my favorite secondary character.

 

In close second to my favorite background pony is Doctor Whooves, but even though I am a huge fan of the show Dr. Who, I still like Derpy(as many of you do) better as a pony character, making her my favorite background character.

Initially, my favorite pony was Fluttershy but now I'm slowly inching towards Pinkie Pie. The "Too Many Pinkie Pies" episode where Pinkie Pie does the G3 face sealed the deal for me.
