  1. Since I am a female, I'm going to add what kind of guy I think would be best suited for each of the Mane Six. I also took into consideration their element, since a romantic partner is your best friend, really. Twilight: As many others have said, we have seen some of her romantic traits already with Flash Sentry. She would be awkward (yet adorable) at times, but I think she would get stressed out over how she acts and would be anxious over the details of dates and such. I think a cool, easy-going guy like Flash is perfect for her because he kind of cancels out her anxiety. Rarity: Since her element is Generosity, I can see Rarity being very giving in a relationship, not needy as some others are suggesting. She does prefer an "upper-crust" lifestyle, so she would definitely need a matching personality there. I think she needs someone who is a bit flirtatious like she is, but is also very gentlemanly. Applejack: I don't see her as someone who is keen on relationships (Trenderhoof!), but if she did fall for someone, I think she would be there for him no matter what. Since she works on a farm, I think she would need a man who had a good work ethic. Open honesty would define the relationship. Fluttershy: Flutters would need a guy who would pursue her, because she would never initiate a relationship herself. Probably someone who is interested in the same things as her, so they would have a common ground. I could see her and a nature-loving stallion having a picnic together. Pinkie Pie: I have a friend who is the embodiment of Pinkie, so I can use her relationship for a comparison. There wouldn't really be a difference in the way she treated her boyfriend over anyone else; she would still try to make them laugh and be as friendly as ever. The perfect guy for her would be someone who is just like her, Cheese Sandwich. Rainbow Dash: I think Rainbow would be the best girlfriend out of the Mane Six, especially with the element of loyalty. She would be staunchly loyal to her partner, and would brush off anypony else but him. She would demand a lot in the relationship I think, but I also think she would give a lot, too. I could see her either with a quieter, but skilled stallion. I don't think she would get along too well with another competitive stallion, at least in the romantic way. Hope you like them
  2. From what I can tell, Big Mac is almost a father figure to both her and Applejack. In another episode (I'm not remembering which one at the moment), Applejack tells Apple Bloom, "I'm going to tell Big Macintosh on you!" And in Hearts and Hooves Day, we see him giving Apple Bloom a punishment, and he's the only/oldest male in the immediate family, so it makes sense. As far as a Big Mac episode, I definitely need one. My fingers are still crossed that the wedding in episode 100 is going to be him and Cheerilee. But it probably will be somepony else.
  3. Twilight: I study a lot and get super freaked out about tests. Rainbow: I push myself to be the best, and am really hard on myself when I am not. Pinkie: I'll do whatever it takes to make people smile, just not in the same way she does. Applejack: I'm hardworking and won't stop until the job is done. Fluttershy: I'm super shy and don't like small talk. Rarity: I'm very creative and I love making gifts for my friends.
  4. I think Rainbow Dash would listen to rock, but I think she would probably choose more indie rock or hard rock than emo. Applejack would definitely listen to country, and I could see Rarity listening to a lot of classical and show tunes. Twilight would probably like a variety of music, but I could see her leaning more toward older songs like the Beatles and such. Fluttershy probably listens to acapella and show tunes as well, with maybe a few cute love songs here and there. I could see Pinkie jamming to anything with a good beat! Of course she likes rock; it's ROCK
  5. I think Smooze is a more basic magical creature like the Ursa Minor, and less of an advanced creature like a dragon (if that makes sense?). As far as being one of Discord's oldest friends, he probably was collaborating with Discord during his reign of chaos. Think of how much damage a slimy creature who eats everything and is impervious to magic could do!
  6. I don't have Discovery Family, but if I have time when the episode's on (around eleven here), I'll watch it on one of the various live streams online. If I miss it or forget about the new episode, I will go on youtube a few hours to days after.
  7. I agree with Red Cedar about her becoming an adult and wanting to move out, but as far as her reason for choosing Ponyville, I think it had a lot to do with the first episode. We see Twilight having to convince the relaxing Rainbow to do her job and clear the clouds, which she does in ten seconds, so I think it's reasonable to say that RD chose Ponyville partly because it is an easy job that would allow for more time to practice her flying (and napping)!
  8. In all honesty, I think our series finale will be Princess Celestia stepping down, Twilight getting her crown and castle, and everypony lives happily ever after. :comeatus: This would NEVER happen, but in an ironic turn of events, Princess Celestia has to use the Elements of Harmony to banish Twilight to the moon when she tries to take over the kingdom. That would be an episode to remember!
  9. Due to the fact that every season finale has to have Princess Celestia inhibited from acting in some way, I predict that Starlight will convince Celestia to give up her cutie mark, and possibly the other princesses except for Twi as well.
  10. A lot of the pegasi that have even had recurring speaking parts, like Thunder Lane, Cloudchaser, and Flitter, don't get the love I think they should. Also, Mjölna is the most underrated fandom reference in the show!
  11. Though I loved the Fluttercord moments, I agree. I really don't like the "real-life" cuts that keep happening, like the other dimension scene in episode seven. Regarding the topic, I feel like MLP has had ups and downs. I became a brony while season two was being aired, and I loved seasons one and two. Season three was awful in my opinion. I feel like the writers were so focused on Equestria Girls that the quality of the episodes were not as good; however, looking back, I think that some of the things I didn't like was just the series changing it's demographic. After seeing season four and now season five, I know that the change was for the better.
  12. All I want to know is who is getting married in the 100th!! A couple comments suggested Cranky Doodle Donkey, but I'm hoping for someone else... (Big Mac and Cheerilee!)
  13. I need to see Snake Eyes and Pinkie Pie interact. Now. Also, Storma Shadow Ninja Pony would be best pony.
  14. I am not really sure, but due to his photography cutie mark, I really want someone to write a fanfiction where he turns out to be Spiderman and Sweetie Belle is MJ.
  15. I meant to "some degree" because of being one of the main three races, but I absolutely agree that she was still too "perfect."
  16. I haven't been on the forums long enough to know which episodes are popular and which aren't, but I listed a few of my favorites and least favorites that I haven't heard a lot of positive or negative vibes about. Not-so-popular favorites: 1. Hearts and Hooves Day - This episode was so stinking cute. It probably was popular when it first aired, but has been forgotten by now. 2. Somepony to Watch Over Me - I'm surprised this episode gets so much hate. Growing up in the south, I know it's engrained in us especially to be protective of our younger siblings, so I think Applejack was completely in character. Plus, we have seen several times that she thinks herself the strongest pony in the group, and that she needs to take all the responsibility. 3. Filli Vanilli - I don't know the feelings about this episode, but I had to post it for the best song in the series. I know a lot of people don't like Equestria Girls, but Rainbow Rocks has really changed my mind about them. Popular not-so-favorites: 1. It's Not Easy Being Breezies - It wasn't easy watching this awful episode. Four words: German accent, pink afro. 2. Twilight Time - I don't necessarily have a good explanation for why I didn't like this, I just didn't. Something about the whole episode just seemed like a filler until the finale. 3. Cutie Map (1&2, but I guess no opener can beat the Return of Harmony!) - I didn't really like the plot idea or its execution in general. Generally, I don't like Pinkie Pie episodes (Too Many Pinkie Pies, Baby Cakes, etc.), and I know for sure that those are popular.
  17. I don't have time to read everybody's comments right now, so pardon me if I echo someone else, but I think that Twilight would have been a much better character if she had not become an alicorn. Before her transformation, she was to some degree equal to the mane six. Her friends helped her, and she helped her friends; however, now that she's an alicorn, it's not so much of a give-and-take relationship anymore, which is why I personally don't like alicorn Twilight as much as I do the other ponies. Furthermore, I don't think becoming an alicorn was necessary for Twilight. It gives her the same "unbeatable" quality that makes so many people dislike characters like superman. Everybody likes to root for an underdog with strong moral character, but if you pitch a boot against an ant (Avengers!), it takes other qualities, like courage and determination, out of the equation.
  18. I have become a believer in Fluttercord... but seriously, when Discord gave her a flower, my heart melted. Also, I quote, "My relationship with Fluttershy..." Also, I love that Maud Pie keeps coming back, in Rainbow Rocks and in this episode. I hope we get to see even more of her in the future!
  19. Am I the only one who's a little tired of Applejack's impersonations of Big Mac? We have seen that a lot in the past two seasons. It seems kind of lazy to keep using it over and over. Also, I though Applejack was out of character. In "Somepony to Watch Over Me," she was SUPER protective of Apple Bloom, but she lets Braeburn watch them when she knows that he has lost them before! It just didn't seem like her to put a competition before her little sister's safety.
  20. Cloudchaser has an edgy style that I really like. Sorry for the large size, it's the only picture this not-so-tech-savvy girl can get to upload
  21. I think that Cloud Chaser doesn't get as much love as she should from the fandom. She's one of the few background ponies who have actually had lines. I also would like to see more of the Royal Guard. I think they have a lot of untapped potential as well. I also agree with the Princess Luna and Granny Smith answers. To be fair, though, with a universe as big as Equestria, the writers (and the fandom) have done a pretty good of utilizing characters and giving them cameos/lines.
  22. My personal head-canon is that RD's signature move has a lot to do with the magic of friendship. Each time she has successfully pulled off the trick, she has done so to help a friend. Yes, in later seasons, she has been able do a sonic rainboom at will; however, because she is learning more about friendship, it makes sense that she would be able to more easily access the magic of friendship. Since we know that the magic of friendship reveals itself in rainbow form (Elements of Harmony), it seems to make sense that this is how her rainboom works. Therefore theoretically speaking, any pony could pull off the sonic rainboom if they had enough of the magic of friendship; however, no pony is a fast enough flyer or knows enough about the magic of friendship to do so except Rainbow.
  23. I find that the ponies I laugh at the most are the ones I can relate to or that I relate to a real-life friend, so I'd have to say Rarity, Big Macintosh, Maud Pie, and Pinkie Pie would be the funniest, because I know people who are EXACTLY like these ponies!
  24. My favorite episode of all time has to be "Hearts and Hooves Day," mainly because I had finished every episode before it and had to wait for that one to come out so it added to the excitement. I also loved The Royal Wedding series, because it reminds me of my brother and I, especially now that he's getting married.
