Here? Nah. In fact I wish I had discovered this place sooner, though I still have a very hard time trying to kind of socialize with others here.

Sometimes I feel like "I've been here too long" when looking at the bigger picture of life in its entirely but one can't let those thoughts consume you.

I never finished the series, haven't really watched an episode in 5 years? am at the point where I'm starting to forget things and hardly participate in pony discussions, but I still haven't left the community, and have no plans to. I'm not even that engaged, just a brooding guy in the corner collecting dust for a decade, but here I am.

Not too long, never that for either  though I do feel like I've been a part of the forums for a while  I don't feel any pressure to stay or leave, as for the fandom, I feel like I can grow old gracefully enjoying ponies, I still have a ways to go when it comes to making fanart, cant let some silly excuse like "too old" to get in the way

I'm kind of torn on the subject.  part of me is okay with being in the forum and fandom as long as I have, and another part of me feels I may have worn out my welcome.  Not that I plan on going anywhere, at least not in the near future, it's just how I'm feeling at the moment.

I enjoy it and it is kind of my home away from home. You guys are like family and i really don't see myself ever getting tired of of talking to you guys whenever you want to talk.

It feels like my home too. But sometimes, yes. It feels very melancholic getting older and still doing the same things you love while other people have moved on and the space you interact with seems to get smaller and smaller... I guess it makes you get more creative as well. A lot of times, I feel like I've been here too long, but there's almost nowhere else to go, at least for me. I like this fandom, always have and probably always will, maybe we'll see the fandom expand again one day! But until then we still get lots of lovely new content now and then.
