Super Meat Boy is probably the funniest game I know and I LOVE the music which is on it.

Check out some of the songs http://www.youtube.c.../31/ATrQKgfLpD0 (Not the remixes)

Agree with Jokuc Super Meat Boy has the best soundtrack :)

Also the classic soundtracks from all old Pokémon, Zelda and Super Mario games isn't completely wrong

I'm sure we've all got a favorite soundtrack from a video game. For me, it's the Tadpole Pond theme from Super Mario RPG.

Also, if there's already a thread for this, you can ridicule me all you want.

We already have this thread.

Just sayin'.

Well it could slightly argued do to the different names of both threads.

Since one is suggesting a whole soundtrack, while the other is asking for individual tunes.

When the thread title is taking into consideration anyway. IMO let both threads stand as is, so long as this thread can indeed be changed to support individual songs. Rather than a entire games soundtrack.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3 yet.

Death Egg Zone has really good music as well.

There are many other music from the Sonic games that I think are great but these two are the first to come into my head.

I personally like the Halo music. Also minecraft and Left 4 Dead.

HALO FTW! :D

Lol, my iPod is FULL of soundtracks. I don't think I could pick just one more to link here.

There's Homeworld 2 for the awesome hugeness of space, Zelda's Temple of Time is unbeatable in epicness, Ace Combat 5's theme and Ace Combat 6: Chandelier are pretty flippin' epic, too.

Halo Reach's "Fortress", a section near the end of "Exodus", and "Fly by Night" are really awesome to do workouts to. Makes you feel invincible, run farther, pump more weight, everything :D

I love the casual sci-fi feel of Starcraft I and II's terran soundtracks, and the Protoss soundtracks are really awesome. Halo ODST has some really unique, awesome music that's perfect for it's setting; a large city with huge skyscrapers.

But, rather surprisingly, there's a really obscure sim, Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2007, which has an absolutely gorgeous soundtrack for when you're gliding in to land with the Shuttle. It plays when you're at 90,000 feet, you've just finished re-entry, the part where the plasma engulfs the shuttle as it slams into the atmosphere at mach 27 at about 250,000 feet. Now, at about mach 2, only 90,000 feet at 2,000 miles later, you take manual control and glide the shuttle on to Kennedy's runway. It's really awesome, you've come from this multi-million mile mission in space, and now you're gently gliding the most intricate and an extremely powerful machine back into Earth's lower atmosphere, and land it at home.

It's really quiet a sight, to gently glide from the upper atmosphere, to the lower, then land on a runway on the ground, in about ten minutes you go from black space-like sky, and a breathtaking view of Earth, you gently glide a 100 ton glider with over a million moving parts along an extremely precise course, doing a nice, gentle circle as you descend into the lower atmosphere, then approach and land on a runway surrounded by thick Florida bush.

(Earth from about 90,000 feet)

Perhaps the most amazing part is going from the celestial, powerful perspective of the world back down to a tiny speck Earth.
