I don't know if I posted here before, but I absolutely love SMG2 and Deadly Creatures' soundtracks.

video game soundtracks are usually top notch in quality production. i don't think i've played a single game and not enjoyed the music.

Motoi Sakuraba is the best composer for video games ever. EVER!

 

He did games such as:

Star Ocean series (As well as the Star Ocean 2 anime)

Eternal Sonata

Resonance of Fate

Tales Of series

Golden Sun

Baten Kaitos series

 

 

This. This soooooooooo much. I love golden sun's ST. It's simply amazing.

 

Also, persona and castlevania have some amazing music. God of war soundtrack is good, if repetitive.

 

Tohou is always worth listening to.

 

This little shmup for iPhone called "lightning fighter" has some amazing music, especially level 3.

 

The binding of Isaac has good music, and the soundtrack is like $2.50 or something, less if you buy it with the game.
