If the Kirin stayed silent, would you pet them?

Pretty simple. You meet the Kirin at their village, not Applejack and Fluttershy. You find that they can't talk, and they can't feel anything. Which means if you pet them, they won't get mad, they won't verbally object, and they probably won't be inclined to smack you across the face. At best, you'd just get a lot of this.

Well, this is a yes AND no question. While it might feel nice to pet them, their magic isn't canceled out. They can just pick you up and throw you away from them if they don't like being pet. And can toss you into the Stream of Silence if you baby talk them.

 

 

Of course, if they let me, I TOTALLY would.

 

And for those wanting to correct me, liking or disliking something isn't a feeling. It's a PREFERENCE.
