Hold on...  The definition for 'gay' does not say anything about being exclusively for males.  It's basically just a synonym for 'homosexual' (as far as I know...  Sadly, the best source I can come up with for this is here).  So, if everyone goes gay for Braeburn, will straight women become homosexuals?  Is Braeburn the perfect physical incarnation of the anti-chick magnet?

 

On topic, no, I wouldn't go gay for Braeburn.  He's cool and all, but I'm not really into stallions.  Or mares for that matter.  I'd prefer human females.

I probably wouldn't go gay for anypony but if I were to do so it would probably be for Big Macintosh, even as a straight male I can appreciate that he is pretty handsome but Braeburn isn't too bad himself either but I think the sexiest member of the Apple family is Applejack.

On a serious note, as a heterosexual male, I wouldn't go 'gay' for anyone or anypony. But I will say that Braeburn is by far the sexiest stallion in the show. Hell, even Applejack has to constantly call him 'cousin Braeburn' to remind herself not to jump him.

 

New plan: All the mares in Ponyville club together and draw Braeburn to the mirror pond so that they have one each! Cue the biggest population surge in Equestrian history. (Followed by generations doomed to webbed hooves and disfigurements as every foal in Ponyville technically has the same father)

I really agree with you, Soarin is the cutest male character in the whole MLP franchise, besides Shining Armor, but still I love them both a lot. Everybody's gay for Soarin.
