How often do you get sick?

I usually get sick once a year (laryngitis) and I would be fine afterwards. Rarely would I get other things, like a stomach bug.

Depends if you count constant sinus issues as sickness. Then I'm sick half the year. Otherwise, I'm sick once every like 2 or 3 years. I have a fairly strong immune system.

Seriously though, I have only gotten ill once within the last... 2 years? And that's because of a stress related breakdown n stuff.

 

I'm one of those lucky people with a superfast metabolism, so I assume that helps me. I also grew up in the country, with farms, horses, cows and stuff. So my immune system is basically a brick wall.

Not really that often. I'll get a small cold if there's a huge shift in weather. Other than that, I haven't thrown up since I was 11.

During the school year I get sick more often because I'm a teacher and I teach 3-5 year olds and they pick up everything! I usually get the worse of it in winter when I catch anything chest related (asthma makes this worse). In spring and summer I hardly ever get sick, but really sick maybe about 3 times per year. I don't get sick during summer break (well for the most part).

Every now and then but 90% of the time, it's usually a really bad cold.

Now I hate it and almost do not (maybe once per year for a while). Life is too short to get sick. And it's amazing how strength of your organism depends of your attitude to life.

Outside of migraines that I haven't found a Rx that works ... I rarely get ill. 

However, when I do get cold or flu two things may happen, the thing sticks around longer than normal and is usually a fierce one. Or ... I fight it off and feel better before the day is out. There is no happy medium.

Major sickness, three times a year, pretty much at the same time each year. Once near Thanksgiving, once near Christmas, and once near the start of February.

As for allergies and other minor colds and stuff, pretty much year round. My immune system is terrible.
