Do bronies actually think mlp can beat anything in a fight.

I am against that mlp can beat everything in fight, I have seen things across the internet about mlp characters fighting halo, mario, sonic, Godzilla, dragonball z, superman (motherbucking superman against ponies), batman, dr. who, dragons and the list goes on.

non-bronies or people who don't watch the show vote for the non-my little pony thing and bronies automatically vote for mlp because they like the show and they praise this show like the second coming of christ, I don't think mlp can beat every single character known on the planet, I just think it is stupid.

Given the right circumstances and some ponies can, in fact, win. Some ponies more than others. Twilight has a vast arsenal of magic to support her and can warp both time and space with relative ease (more space than time though).

I'm talking strictly powers from the show. Twilight has shown the ability to warp to random locations, contain within a field of magic, even creating a barrier strong enough to ward off any sort of bacteria (meaning even the smallest of particles).

 

The problem with random pairings like that is that their powers shouldn't work exactly the same in each other's worlds and not everyone will have a complete understanding of both sides to say who will truly win.

 

But just as you don't think ponies will always win, neither will they always lose.

Also, the matchups are more than a bit nonsensical. I mean, Pinkie vs. Kratos? Ummmm....yuh. k.

 

Last, but not least, why does this matter? This sounds like it'd be more than a bit goofy - when you've got goofy matchups like those, why should anyone take them seriously?

 

Pinkie vs. Kratos is not a serious matchup. If people want to have fun and vote for their favorite characters, than let them It's not as if this was something that decided the fate of the world, you know? It just sounds like something for people to enjoy, and they should be able to enjoy things as they please.

Another factor: The only capacity they are judging the abilities in is fighting. Why no fashion? Cooking? Sports? Video games?

 

It's just a little one-sided to put a race of creatures not known for fighting into a fighting scenario. Twilight, Rainbow Dash and possibly Applejack are the only ones who would stand even a little bit of chance against veteran soldiers and warriors of the gods. Especially if you count Twilight with all of the Alicorn magic within her when she had so much power she literally couldn't control it even with her immense aptitude for magic.

I can't speak for other "Bronies", but I personally would never unfairly bias a fight toward the ponies just because I think they could win. I believe Twilight Sparkle stands the best change out of all of the ponies, but I'd be remiss to suggest she could be someone like Cell from Dragon Ball Z or something. I've done character match ups for a long time with my friends, and although I argue a lot for characters I like, I know when a character is beat.

 

In fact, about two months ago some homies and I did a character bracket and I got to put Rainbow Dash on there. She did pretty good, but she ended up going against Samurai Jack and...

 

Yeah, suffice to say there was pony giblets.

Rarity transcends Super Saiyans when it comes to fashion. She is above - no - beyond Super Saiyan when it comes to fashion and/or general fabulosity

Its not only ponies as many bronies will back any character in the show. Especially Discord since he is "reality warping" so that means he and the ponies beats everything including Superman, Goku, Kratos, MK characters such as Ermac, Scorpion, Noob, Quan Chi, as well as traditional weapons and natural disasters such as 100 megaton nuclear bomb detonated right on top of them, and supernovas.

 

I agree with you that some bronies MLP characters will always win. Sure they can beat some characters, but not an all out assault like the entire military using every weapon in their arsenal such as nukes machine guns, missiles, jets, tanks, and powerful bombs. Sure the ponies may be ultra powerful in fanfictions but in cannon MLP they really don't stand a chance against much in my opinion.

 

You are going to find out no matter how much you try to convince many bronies, they will debate you while in some cases making stuff to protect their "pastel" ponies as you said despite never even encountering anything close to those being in shows or damage caused by WMD's and natural disasters. I have noticed this and basically its to each their own. They can believe whatever they want even if it sounds unrealistic. 

 

I love MLP too, but I don't put them on a pedestal saying they can defeat all or come close to beings such as Goku or Superman.

There's nothing to get upset about through. Do you like the characters because of how powerful they are, or because how much you enjoy playing their games or watching their shows/movies?

 

I like MLP more than I like the Flash. Am I personally insulted by the fact that Flash would run circles around Rainbow Dash? No because the reason why I like the show has nothing to do with how powerful the characters are.

The problem is that MLP is very situation based.

 

Against say Goku, Twilight will win because when Goku feels her power level, he'll think she's nothing special and just tank her attacks. Of course, since DBZ sucks against magic, Twilight smashes his sternum with a power pulse

 

Against, say, Trunks, Trunks is just going to up and kill her because he doesn't shit around, therefore, Twilight has no chance to retaliate

 

BTW, Master Chief and Mario would get their asses kicked if they don't have weapons. Chief is a three tonner at best, Twilight can levitate the roughly 14 tons Ursa Minor back when she was still rather weak. Mario is nothing special other than breaking bricks
