The very last episode very clearly show that they arrange to meet up once a moon at least. Any answers the episode didn't show, you're free to think of with your own imagination

    This.

The Mane Six meet at least once a moon, so they can rule Equestria together and stay connected regardless of what's going on with their lives.

  3. Griffon the Brush Off. The episode started off fine, but the second Twilight accused Pinkie of being "jealous," it went off the rails. Gilda wanted to spend some time with Rainbow Dash, but she also went way too far by being overly aggressive, and Pinkie was right to complain. Its moral about standing up with your true friends is great. Unfortunately, turning GIlda antagonistic undercuts the very moral it was trying to teach.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tom Brady is retiring from the NFL after an unprecedented career in which he won seven Super Bowls and set numerous passing records, his company’s Twitter account said Saturday.

The 44-year-old Brady goes out after leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title last season and NFC South championship this season.

Brady’s TB12sports Twitter account wrote: “7 Super Bowl Rings. 5 Super Bowl MVPs. 3 League MVP Awards. 22 Incredible Seasons. Thank you for it all, @TomBrady”

ESPN first reported Brady’s retirement on Saturday, citing unidentified sources.

Brady had cited a desire to spend more time with his wife and children despite still playing at the top of his game. Brady led the NFL in yards passing (5,316), touchdowns (43), completions (485) and attempts (719), but the Buccaneers lost at home to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday in the divisional round.

Brady won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots in 20 seasons playing for coach Bill Belichick. He joined the Buccaneers in 2020 and led them to the second Super Bowl title in franchise history.

Brady leaves the games as the career leader in yards passing (84,520) and TDs (624). He’s the only player to win more than five Super Bowls and was MVP of the game five times.

Widely considered the greatest quarterback to play the game, Brady won three NFL MVP awards, was a first-team All-Pro three times and was selected to the Pro Bowl 15 times. He was 243-73 in his career in the regular season and 35-12 in the playoffs.

What an unbelievable career. Seven Super Bowl wins in ten appearances, 5-time SB MVP, 3-time NFL MVP (and may win another). 14 playoff game-winning drives, the only QB with 600 passing TDs (624), 84,520 passing yards. His elite résumé earned him a trip to Canton a long time ago. In fact, split his career into the three decades of his life (20, 30s, and 40s); each of them are HoF careers on their own. His greatest win (and what sealed his status as the GOAT in both the QB position and the NFL altogether) was the overtime victory in SB LI against Atlanta: a 28-3 comeback on the grandest stage; no other team had a bigger Super Bowl comeback than ten points.

See you in Canton in five years, GOAT! :D

  5. Favorite: Perfect Pear. This inspiration from Romeo & Juliet is a masterpiece. The song is amazing. The story more amazing. Pear Butter & Bright Mac are a wonderful couple. Grand Pear's the show's most tragic character. No list of FIM's best episodes is complete without it.

Underrated: Two come on my mind as I type this.

    • She's All Yak. I praised this episode to high heavens ever since it aired. Equestria has a blind spot when it comes to communicating with creatures from other countries and backgrounds. Yona picked up the idea that she had to be a pony to fit right in, and her teachers (despite their best intentions) didn't help matters. This lesson is one that Equestria needed to learn long ago. Not to mention Sandbar is great here, and the ship is plausible.
    • Castle Sweet Castle. This episode has aged better and better over the years. The humor is great. The morals are great. More importantly, the heart is fantastic. The dynamic between Spike and Twilight, especially as they stand before the destroyed library, really carries the episode.

Overrated: Brotherhooves Social. The majority of the episode is Big Mac in drag as an unfunny joke. The jokes are shallow and accentuated the unfortunate implications (transmisogynistic tropes like the Adam's apple reveal) that the show should've been aware of at the time. Both Apple Bloom and Big Mac also come across as really dumb; they work on and host the annual event, so they should've known that stallions, mares that aren't family, and nonbinary ponies can participate.

Hated: The Crystal Empire. Many other episodes from the series are worse than this. Four years ago, I moved TCE out from my bottom-10. But the reason why I still hate it is how the Royal Sisters put thousands of lives in danger just to see if Twilight can lead. The entire episode focuses on her test first and foremost and keeping the kingdom safe from Sombra second.

That's because they were rushed and poorly done. Here the writers had a whole damn season showing us the trio working together and us starting to like them, then blueballed us in the name of 'Subverting Expectations'.

There wasn't any subversion of expectation when it came to the Terrible Trio. Unlike Starlight, Diamond Tiara, or Gloriosa Daisy, they showed us that they weren't interested in reforming or redeeming. In two episodes, the audience knew that they were going to be among the biggest baddies. The only question was whether Grogar would be with them or not; there were plenty of clues foreshadowing more to him than meets the eye.

then Discord is sure as hell irredeemable and probably worse than they are.

Discord wasn't responsible for any of the crimes they committed. The Terrible Trio planned their entire coup behind his back.

  7. This news caught me by surprise. Betty White is a legend. One of the best people and one of the best actors.

This scene from Golden GIrls's Season 1 finale is a classic in large part by how she maintained composure while both Bea and Rue busted a gut from laughing. XD

I think the best case scenario would've been for Twilight to come full circle and actually talk them down by pointing out they've become friends. Having the Legion be redeemed would be worth sacrificing the Avengers-ripoff ending.

Disagree. Every single time the Terrible Trio was offered the Magic of Friendship, they immediately threw it away.

    1. After losing her hive to Thorax, Starlight offered Chrysalis guidance. Unlike Starlight in S5, she rejected it and went on the run. During The Mean Six, she rejected friends for servants and power to conquer the Changeling Kingdom.
    2. The very second she signed up for class, Cozy Glow had an ulterior motive to destroy all magic, unleash hell, and incite a mob to rule. She became the top student in the school, earned Twilight's trust, and became a really reliable figure. All the while, she used those lessons and the MoF itself to ship a copy of Twi's curriculum to Flim & Flam, sow doubt among the Young Six, and contact Tirek. If Cozy escaped, she would've tried again.
    3. Tirek spat on the idea of the MoF. In Twilight's Kingdom, he used Discord's eagerness for glory to switch sides. Then after helping him capture Twilight's friends, he stole his magic. While penpaling with Cozy, he got to learn about the school, the Young Six, and her intentions to destroy magic.

While together and successfully retrieving the bell, they rejected the Magic for the last time, instead forming an alliance to stab Grogar in the back at his most vulnerable. Thanks to Frenemies, the seeds of their ultimate crime were planted. Any chance of reforming them was over. The Terrible Trio had one goal: conquer Equestria by any means necessary or die trying.

The Avengers-style defense against them makes much more sense. Close friendships with communities beyond Equestria were established with some or all of the Mane Six (Mane Eight if you also count Starlight and Spike) throughout the series. The Young Six understood that the Magic of Friendship doesn't stay with the Mane Eight only, but is embodied with everyone. Every moment throughout the series culminated in that final battle. If they didn't bond and arrive at the right time, the Terrible Trio would've murdered them. Rescuing them tells everyone how much they grew alongside the Mane Eight and why they were among the best vessels to help share the MoF.

I would definitely say for all ages. I wouldn't just talk about stuff like fandom nods and that Rick and Morty reference, you can go all the way back to Season 2 and honestly try to tell me that your average kid would get that Big Lebowski reference.

Indeed, and you can go back further. Look Before You Sleep subtly referenced a revolutionary sex guide when Rarity read the title of Twilight's slumber party book out loud.

  10. Think of the name, "Lauren Faust." She's a trusted name, and her well-earned reputation (in some respects) carried over to FIM. Hasbro trusted Faust to retool it after showing her Princess Promenade. Because Hasbro wanted to improve MLP, the folks carrying it and its direction would've been much more different.

Without Faust, would G4 be a return to MLP's family-friendly roots of the 1980s? Probably.

Do I think it would've gone as popular as it did and reach anywhere close to nine seasons? Unfortunately, I don't.

Would Grogar having been real only to get immediately taken out at the begining have been better or worse then him being Discord in disguse?

It would've been significantly worse. It's one thing for Discord to be dumb enough to follow through his scheme. It's another for him to be real, only for his potential to be completely wasted before he ever got the chance. (At least WildBrain sprinkled clues of "Grogar" being Discord throughout, if you take a closer look.)

  12. One of the biggest problems from FIM's first five seasons was Spike's treatment. Much of the "comedy" he suffered was through no fault of his own or accentuated by an outside force (i.e., Owlowiscious's sudden presence making him protective of his status). In ANG, Hitch experienced more toned-down hijinks during half of the film, yet he deserved it each time. After joining the others, the slapstick disappeared.
