  1. Spike at Your Service. I wasn't too fond of it at first, but after watching it again a few days ago, I remembered how annoying they make Spike. Yes, it was intentional, to a point, as from AJ's viewpoint, but it wore on. His constant failures became less and less interesting and he became a clingy, annoying, whiny character like no one else. Probably my least favourite, followed by Green is not Your Colour (That is the Photo Finish/Fluttershy one, right?) which I didn't like much, mainly because I'm don't really like Fluttershy, and a whole episode of her NOT acting out was one I could do without. It was just a softly-spoken sorryfest.
  2. There's a Nyx Fan Club?! She's all over Fimfiction sometimes, I've seen loads of people use her. I liked Past Sins, though it did feel a LITTLE melodramatic, but Nyx was a cutesy character before it all went down. More cutesy amusement and it would have been amazing, her school parts were brilliant, just the endgame killed it all. Maybe if she'd shown some of her real colours a bit earlier it might have saved it a bit. Nyx, as the filly, deserves love! What happened after that however.. Funny way to spell Rhino...
  3. Well, my girlfriend MIGHT have something to say about me getting close to a Princess and a Queen, especially as she hates bugs, but I'm sure I could change her mind in time. I mean, who wouldn't want Princess Luna AND Queen Chrysalis with them? Obviously, there would be a few issues to sort out, but I'd prevail eventually!
  4. EQG had really nice songs and flowed nicely, though Shimmer was a little lacklustre as a villain. She showed so much promise at the start, but kind of fizzled out. The cafeteria scene remains one of my favourite songs of FiM, and the dancing in it was the first time I've actually though 'Hey, that looks really good.' RR had some excellent songs too, in fact, it was built on them! Shimmer was better in this one, but the Mane 6 kinda faded out. The dazzlings more than made up for that though- their whole design was excellent, posing as singers as sirens. The main event, the Battle of the Bands was somewhat disappointing- yes, the few songs we heard then were very good, but there were so many more that would have been good- I was looking forward to a CMC rock-out:( and Flash's band deserved an actual song seeing as he was somewhat significant. I can not decided which is better, as they both seem equally good in my eyes. EQG was brave, tried something new, and it paid off. RR built on that success well, with a worthy sequel. They could both have been better, but they were far better than what I was expecting.
  5. The view from the campsite we stayed at when I was on a trip to Italy (Thanks over-funded PE dept. We love you!) We were in the mountains, snow-capped peaks lay a few kilometres away, air was thin and clear, clouds were below us in the valley. The sun was clear and bright like nothing I've ever seen before (and I live in a semi-rural area), and it was beautiful...At its best in broad daylight, so you could really admire its colours. Also, late at night, the sodium streetlights. That soft orange glow, especially in a cold, thick fog, with nothing around except the occasional passing car a way away...It's just...Really, really nice. None of that elegance with the new white lights. Finally: Germany. When I first saw the country with my own eyes, I was amazed. I'm a UK bro, so other countries always seem phenomenally huge, and I saw it from the air. It must have been late afternoon, clear skies, thick snow on the ground, of such a pure white it actually shone. Germany really is a beautiful country...
  6. Simple answer- the voices. Long ago, as I entered the fandom, I watched an episode of whatever gen it was with the girl and some sort of bunk room full of ponies...Dear lord...The voices... I have no doubt just re-voicing it all would make it 90% better. I don't think they were entirely beyond saving, just in dire need of redux.
  7. Watching the crowds in London be cold on the TV, before quickly scooting upstairs to update my forums status, AS PER THE LAW
  8. I write a lot, and MLP is just so easy to work with, so I often end up writing pony. Sometimes watch the show, often watch pony-related things on YT, but far from exclusively. No merch or anything. And overall, I'm pretty chilled to the point I don't take a lot seriously, though season 5, and the rumours of a movie on the horizon stir me...
  9. I'm tied between Applejack and Fluttershy- they're both so forgettable.. But AJ does have some really good songs and episodes, and she has a good, chilled voice nearly all the time. And Fluttershy, well, whenever she's all energetic, she's excellent! Like during Flutterwonder! And they both have really nice colour-schemes and mane/tail styles:)
  10. You may be a Brony, if you don't say AJ when referring to Applejuice because it would feel weird, but then you randomly blurt 'Applejack' instead and hope your mother wasn't listening whilst making her shopping list. You may be a Brony, if one of the most important things that concerns you is the release of FiM's Season 5. I remember these back from the days of 'You may be furry if...Good old gags there:)
  11. What's this? A load of Zozo posts? Good, good. I'll post nothing then. In all seriousness, Behemoth's theme from IV terrified me. By the end of The Lair of the ForeFathers I dreaded this song.
  12. Happy 2015 Britbros (and everyone before us:)

  13. Video Game bests: Crysis2 (Favourite game ever. Beautiful, powerful, excellent.) Most of the 'Tales of Knighthood' (The OST album from Sonic and the Black Knight), but especially 'Great Megalith' Perfect Dark Gaia's theme (Unleashed) ^ Lots of yes:D I maayyy be a bit of a sonic fan...... Film: SAW Theme Such an epic track... Shows: I have to say, the MLP:FiM extended theme is one of my guilty pleasures Oh, and the Panty and Stocking theme is good, but I can't find a decent clip of it..
  14. Take note of how 27K people can fit into a garden fit for 27 people at a crush. Watch physics break down and cry. Console physics. Watch dog go berserk. Snap out of induced daze and write a status update on here starting 'You'll never guess what's just happened...' Welcome all to my humble abode. Street Party.
  15. I have to say, I'm more for anthro. That perfect blend of pony and human is good, I'd probably go a bit further towards ponified than the examples given though. Obviously, full pony is best:)
  16. Only once, properly. I'm usually busy being far too chilled about things for my own good (Quoth: My own mother) to get angry. It was when I was in year 8, I think. Blueshirts were years seven to nine, and I was one. It was the end of lunchtime, we were all on the field, and so, as the three years (about 600+ kids) wandered up to the gates at the top, the six or seven 'stoners' as they were known (thugs, most of them have been arrested at least once, various drugs-related offences, but that's all a story for another time) chose to pick on me. I was walking, minding my own business, meaning to catch up with my usual group in a moment, and one of them steps up and starts kicking my heels. I turn around, dismiss it as an accident, and walk on. Same one does it again, I ask him to stop, he laughs, mimics me, I walk on. He does it again, I ask him again, seriously, same answer. And then, for some reason, I snapped, whirled on him, threw him to the floor, and wailed on him. He was a lot bigger than me (one or two years) but I wasn't exactly scrawny, so we both got fairly beat. I was yelling at him the whole time, as I'm pretty sure he was... And there were no repercussions, strangely. Seeing as looking at someone the wrong way got you detention normally. Well, other than on my walk home, he walked up to me, punched me in the eye with this red ink stuff, and it burned like a bitch... And that's it, some details omitted, for my sake. Never have I typed that incident out before. Also, screw you Karma, you've never got my ass.
  17. Was a fur, now a fur and a bro. Never quite as into the furry fandom, I guess because it was just so much larger and more spread out- too spread out! And the fact there's no agreed-on definition of the term 'furry', despite what anyone tells you, I've always found it a harder fandom to navigate, if that makes any sense. With the pony fandom, everything's more related to the core of it all- MLP, which means it's easier to find things you like, and that you share interest in with other. It's hard to explain.. Have to say, it does all blend very nicely though, in terms of art, music, fiction, etc, but I can see people wanting to distance themselves from either due to both of the fandoms', thanks to the thoughts people have of each. (Fun fact: My first topic post on MLPForums was on the same subject as this. It was my most popular one, loads of comments, etc, then got locked. I remain proud of it to this day)
  18. 10 Grand would be a big game changer for me... But a day with She Who Raises the Moon? I think I'd forego up to 50K for that. Besides, Luna's royalty, and she's magic, she can create limitless money, if she so wishes. Get friendly, Get rich, Problem solved.
  19. Lesson Zero. My first, and simply my favourite. It's About Time was and Luna Eclipsed draw a close second. Just gotta love that crazy purple pony!
  20. I love Kefka's off-kilter madness. It's dangerous, deadly, and amusing, but I also really like the discreet, manipulative villains, such as GlaDOS, Hargreave, Gengar, Darkrai...It's so tough! I think it's between Gengar and Darkrai: Both use your allies as enemies. Darkrai used to lords and rulers, but I think Gengar wins by turning the entire town and all your friends against you, and that's only his beginning!
  21. You got me with that first line XD I give it an interesting and original concept but will have to be done well to be well-received/10 I don't particularly like M/M, in fact, I often avoid it entirely, but this seem amusing enough to follow.
  22. I've always ripped the vids from Youtube or Dailymotion ASAP from the airing, thus I now have every single episode and both films stored away. It would be nice if we could get the DVDs legit though, and, if they continue to receive such hordes watching, I reckon they'll release more over here.
  23. I was planning to head out and buy a new 3DS game in a few days, as I haven't had a chance to get any yet- only to find someone's been at my Birthday/Christmas cash.

    1. PROJECT: Simon
