Random Things That Get on Your Nerves

People who misuse the word, "there, their, and they're."

There: Is in reference to a place

"I'm going over there" or "I'l meet you there, ok?"

Their: When you are talking about a person

"No you can't, it's theirs" or "Shoot! I lost their tickets."

They're: It's a contraction for 'they are'

"They're on the way" or "They're the best flyers in equestria"

When people count their paraphilia as their orientation (e.g "Zoosexual").

Also, when people say use "SJW" as an argument. My god...

The sound of Styrofoam rubbing makes me homicidal. I literally want to shank someone right then and there. most likely whoever is causing it.

I hate it when people drive with their car stereos blasting at full volume. At such a level of sound, the music is just a distorted mess anyway, so why risk permanent hearing damage over an insecure bid for attention?

Hearing Ni-kee instead of Nike. I don't care if it's the official way to say it, you gotta put a squiggly over the e for me to accept that.

Ooh, ooh! This one is related to MLP.

When people refer to the princesses as "Sunbutt" or "Moonbutt" it severely annoys me. It sounds like somebody swooning over them and it reminds me of someone I've had spats with.

No offense to anyone though

-When people call Orcas whales, they are DOLPHINS

-When people don't know the simplest words on the planet

-When people get simple facts about animals/anything incorrect

-When people question my sexuality/beliefs/lack thereof of religion/thought process/etc

-When my iPod refuses to listen to me

-When people compliment me or ask me to talk about myself or personal matters

-etc

I can continue but I won't.

I'll shrug off just about anything, because I'm not gonna care in about 10 minutes. That being said, the store I work at has a person that does the closing announcement that instantly dials me up to a 10. Yelling into the overhead, "Gooooooood eeeveniiiinngggg gueeeests. Ouuuuuuuur stoooooooooore will be cloooooosiiiiiing in teeeeeeeeeeeen miiiinuuuuuuuutttttesss." You can see where I'm going with this

When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move,
your job is to plant yourself like a tree next to the river of truth, and tell the whole world
"No, you move."

Being interrupted mid-sentence or people trying to talk FOR me when I'm present for the conversation. Also people who can't leave their damn phones alone when you're trying to have a conversation. Yes I'm sure the lights on the screen are very pretty and distracting, but could you please leave it alone for a minute so that I know you're paying attention? :unamused:

Body contact gets on my nerves, in both senses of the phrase. :D This didn't used to be a real issue for me, but I've recently developed a strong reflex against being touched. Don't get me wrong, I've never really liked being touched on specific ways like being tickled, for example, I am deathly afraid of that. If you know me even a little in real life, you know that I am one of the most ticklish people. :adorkable: But lately, my dislike of being touched turned into fear, and I'm constantly dodging people's touches, even in public on the streets when not a single person that passes by has any reason to tap me on the shoulder. :sealed: I get really spooked when someone would tap me on the arm or leg to tell me something, and even have a virtual "radius" around my body only I can see, and if I sense that something is in the area within that "radius" in my peripheral vision, my body reacts according with a big jump and it usually really freaks people out. :lie: I'm not really sure what caused this, but I've just been acting very uncomfortable in front of everyone in real life lately... :please:

You and me both. I don't speak up very often but when I do and someone interrupts me, it annoys me to no end.
