That's a difficult decision... The worst thing I ate recently was a prawn cocktail. I love prawns, but whatever that mayonnaise-like sauce was coating them was really sickly. Although, for the worst thing I have ever tasted... olives. I was in school, doing a taste test and trying different cuisine from around the world. I only just managed not to throw up after the olive!   They're an acquired taste, I guess?  :scoots:

As for the worst drink, I don't know... probably cola/coke. Not even the diet kind.

Food: Avocado (yes I know, everyone's sudden favourite super food, tried it, didn't like it, sorry!   )

Drink: Barley iced tea. I picked one up at an asian supermarket and considering my only other experiences of iced tea are that they are a certain flavour but sweetened, I almost threw up drinking that. It was like drinking pond water...

Yay, someone else who hates avocado! I really hate it. It tastes like the smell of grass.

 

Another thing I hate is liquorice, vile stuff.

Worst food: probably canned cat food. The worst dishes are low quality watery vegetable soups that taste like vomit. I have had these in bad lunch buffets. I'd choose cat food over them easily. I have eaten maggot cheese (casu marzu) but it was only mediocre.

Worst drink: johnnie walker red label. Judging from the taste I found at least the exquisite flavors of mold and anus.

A few years ago, i went to a party at this restaurant with my family in San Jose. We went to some huge buffet. My cousins had the bright idea to mix chocolate milk with all the drinks from the soda fountain—yes, INCLUDING the lemonade and orange juice— and if THAT wasn’t disgusting enough, the proceeded to add HOT CHILI SAUCE, KETCHUP AND MUSTARD INTO THE DAMN  THING. I had to drink this really nasty medicine for a week when I was a kid and it was grape but it was really strong and had an awful taste in it that I really can’t describe. It was so bad that I teared up every time I drank it. Might be the reason why I don’t like grape-anything.

I also convinced my dad to buy me 75% dark chocolate once thinking it would have 75% more flavor. It tasted like chocolate chalk and it also traumatized my taste buds cause I can’t eat any dark chocolate anymore cause it all tastes gross. It’s sad cause I used to love it as a kid.

Worst food: Grits. Bland, disgusting, they-make-raw-tofu-more-flavorful grits. I have no why any Southerner would like to eat something that even the deep fryer can't make good.

Worst drink. Any "drinkable" alcohol. I don't care what alcohol it is, whether it's an American beer or some special wine, I'm gonna hate it and wear it in pride.

The sweetener version of activia yoghurt. How can they even call that a product it's revolting, too sweet. Should be banned cuz forcing that into my mouth made me sick. They also sell it on the top shelf nowdays and so it's easy to mistake for the real thing. In the UK people are pushing for sweetners even tho they aren't healthy really, but at least not all sweetened stuff tastes disgusting like that.
