Yup, like the title, what do you sound like when you speak?

I have a very slight southern US accent. Pretty sure living in the south for the majority of my life is the reason for that, and many of my family members and my mom have subtle southern accents as well. But I couldn't be prouder of it!  Just don't go around tellin me I sound cute.

(If someone didnt have an accent wouldn't they techically not have a voice at all?) I've lived in England all my life and Liverpool most of my life and picked up the accent since I've been here, but every so often I'll slip into a western accent with certain words since that's where I grew up, same goes for my dad. Such an odd combination

Well I'm from the east of England so I guess I would have an English accent if I went somewhere else.

im not even english so when i speak english i sound like when english people speak spanish (pretty bad)

 

 

and when speaking spanish (there are lots of different spanish accents too) ive been told that i have a pretty standard no-accent spanish

I have a slight West Country accent (im English). Tend to drop in and out of it, but generally I have a non accent (basic south english accent)

 

But if youve ever seen the film Hot Fuzz, thats kinda what ive got.

​Apparently I do have an accent that I didn't know about.  When I lived in Virginia Beach, I went to the bank one day and the security guard said something to me, I responded and he was like, "I've never heard that accent before, where you from?"  I guess there's a Michigan accent that I never knew of?

For English I have Finnish accent, because I'm Finn and English is my second language.

Not sure if it counts, but I have dialect in my Finnish that is mixture of South Ostrobothnia's dialect and Tampere's dialect.

I don't think so but when I visited my aunt in the UK she said I have a Canadian accent and that she could not understand me that well because of it.  I guess if you stay in the same country long enough you just don't notice it anymore.

As english isn't my native language I have a big accent when I speak it, but when I speak french I don't have one.

My accent is very faint; so much so that I don't even notice it at times.

It's an accent that comes from the city I grew up and am currently living in; Rochester, NY.

I apparently put more of an emphasis on o's, r's, and a's than most people from other places of the U.S.

Everybody has an accent. We just usually don't realize it until someone from somewhere else tells us. Someone from Australia would probably tell me I had a Canadian accent. Even people just across the border in Seattle have pegged me as being Canadian because of my manner of speech.

 

It can go both ways, though. I spent three months traveling in Great Britain as a teenager. When I came back, all my friends said I now had a British accent. I have unfortunately lost it, but it still shows up when I say one word in particular: pint.

Well I actually have like five different accents and what one I use depends on the situation but most of the time it's a half British half Aussie accent. When I get silly with jokes I usually end up having a classic strong Aussie accent but I can do others when I want to.

People are always asking me if I am from England cause apparently i sound British to them? but I was born in Oregon with a speech impendiment (like I cant says R's....) BUT ever since I was little i got asked and people actually think I am adopted or something.

I speak with near 'Received Pronunciation' - essentially a posh British accent. Not entirely sure why, none of my friends speak this way, so it's not a regional thing (and I never intended to speak this way either :s). But, when I see my extend family, the accent gets a lot softer and I begin to take on a hybrid of mine and theirs (again, no control over it :s).
