Would you make a good companion for the Doctor?

So I was just out on my daily walk and I found the T.A.R.D.I.S.

Curiosity forced my hand & I had to stop and ask the guy that was out working on his car at the time. You know, on the off chance it might have been real. Turned out that he took the time to build his own blue police box completely by hand. Set it up with a light rigged into it & everything.

As I stood there in awe of such magnificent creativity, the thought came to me.

What about you would make you a good travel companion for The Doctor?

I've often said that I wouldn't. I'm not much of a risk taker, I always say, but I guess that isn't completely true. Curiosity is a huge thing with me & I feel that's something The Doctor has always held dear. If I happen to blunder across some large, suspiciously throbbing, egg-shaped rock I will, even against my better judgement, take that baby home with me! Think we can all agree that waltzing into trouble & continuously needing to be saved is a reoccurring trait for his companions! But I still do have enough sense to not poke some angry alien beast. Buuut those same apprehensions might prove a bit sticky at times.

"I'm not fighting that! It's going to kill us!"

Nonsense! That's why we have to think around this problem!

"Well some of us can't regenerate, you know!"

Well, I don't know, have you tried?

"I'll do it if you try the dying part first yourself!"

Though I think there's one little detail he always mentions that I don't think I'm capable of.

  I.

 Do not.

  Run.

Sure, I can panic with the best of them, but I'm not one to go chasing about. Either you eat me or I eat you, I ain't playin' no Cat & Mouse. I'm a thinker, I'd rather sit there to plan the puzzle out or wait by the lever that needs throwing than be the one that has to constantly rush around to get somewheres in time. Unless everything is literally blowing up around me, you are not getting me to run the Hail Mary pass for this adventure. Then again... I really could use the exercise & excitement, lol.

It's not that I'm reluctant, if I can save lives I will, but I've never wanted to be the hero.

Beatings & Salivations Everybeing!   Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread  and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread!  Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew!

No way. The companion comes extremely close to dying in every single episode. I can't handle that stress.

All in all, I think I'd make an okay companion. I've always had a bit of desire for adventure. The thing is, I can't really pick out what the Doctor requires in a companion. But I'm pretty sure that if Rory could do it then I can do it. So, I'm in.

I would be pretty terrible all in all. I have three fears, an inability to swim, a lack of dexterity (Probably makes a difference...) and cowardice.

I'm too much of a Weegee to do any of it :/ But I did write two essays about it. One was about killing Hitler to create a paradox big enough to get rid of weeping angels. :P

I would make a good companion, one, I don't complain and will do as the doctor say (trust.the.damn.doctor.already) and two I like adventure and will stick around.

Considering that I've had a LOT of dreams in which I was a companion (not by my choice but mostly because what was happening at the moment was near me and I had no option other than to stick with the doctor) I would say I would be an okay companion.. I wouldnt be a smartass but I wouldnt be stupid either.. just enough to actually get out of a situation without making things worse XD

*sigh*

Not anymore. Too old, too broken. When I was young, yeah I was all up for it.

Mind you, that was during the classic series. The modern companions are a different bunch. I definitely wouldn't fit in with them, even when I was younger.

I don't know. It sounds like a great adventure and I'm always up for that. But I'm not really qualified for this since I've never seen a single episode of the show from any generation. Maybe I'm missing out on something here.  :please:

I think the main thing to consider is whether or not I get to wear cool outfits. If I can, I'm in, regardless.  :proud:
