Fat

I'm thin, so I'm not fat. You racist bastards.

Virgin

Why would a 13 year old boy have sex?

With no social lives

... Really? I have a social life.

Live with their parents

Again, I'm 13. I'm not homeless.

Will never have a girlfriend

I'm not interested in girls yet, but I'll get to that soon.

Hyper-obsessed

I'm not watching the show twenty-four-seven, so I'm not hyper-obsessed.

"Clop" to the ponies

... Nope. I'm disgusted when I see pony porn.

-Skinny as hell, not fat.

-Not the most social of people but I definitely have a social life.

-Virgin? I may be nineteen but I still have no interest in dealing with the inevitable drama that comes with relationships.

-Living with parents still because society won't give me a job yet </3

Obsessed? I don't watch the show much now because I've seen it enough, and get my pony entertainment from the fanbase. So, very interested, but not unhealthily obsessed.

Old Adult Male

14. Gonna be 15 on October 8!

Disgusting

I'm built and in generally good shape from football. A lot of girls say I'm "cute" even you guys that know me say I'm "cute"...

Creepy

I have a very outgoing personality and became friends with everyone within the first week of school.

Virgin

Well thats a bit complicated...

Without a social life

Bitch please...

Live with their parents

I'm 14. I would really like to get a place but then again only 14...

Will never have a girlfriend

Had a few and currently have a fourth one who I asked to homecoming. For a 14 year old she is HOT.

Totally Obsessed

I drop a few references every now and then while occasionally watching the show so not obsessed.

Into pony porn or a "clopper"

It actually somewhat sickens me that people have perverted something so innocent...

Hmm let's see, I'll put together a list of points:

- I am not 30 years old, I am 22 years old going on 23 in about 4 months and 13 days.... oh jesus christ I'm getting old.... T_T

- Not fat, got a good metabolism and I've also started working out to build a little muscle and improve my cardio.

- Creepy? Well that's rather subjective. I'm just a normal guy who is out to make a living in this world. If some schmuck walking down the other side of the road thinks I'm creepy for any reason... oh well I guess? Doesn't matter to me, I won't judge him for wearing his pants around his knees, allowing the world to see his polka dot underwear.

- No Social Life? I do have one actually... or I did. Most of my friends graduated from college some time ago. Also all my friends are in other places... like Florida.

- Virgin? Well uh... yeah. Yeah I am still a virgin. But I'm not out looking to get laid, there is more to life than how often you hit the sack with someone. Someday I will probably loose the V-Card but I'm not in a rush since I've got a good 60 to 70 years left on this planet.

- Where else am I going to go during my winter/summer breaks? No point having a house of my own when god knows where I'll be in a year from now.

- Okay, sure. I've had really bad luck with girls, but oh well. That's the way life goes. Some people find dates easy, some not so much. I'd rather start up a life with a good career that I am happy with anyway. That kind of environment is better for finding people anyway...

Well for one I'm not a fucking 6 year old girl so that's something. I'm not old and creepy. I'm 16 and I'm on the football team. Of course I live with my parents as again I'm 16. I don't make references to MLP all day long in every conversation. I drop the occasional 20% cooler every now and again though. I'm not fat. I'm probably one of the more fit as I have football practise 4 days a week. To be honest my school is pretty drug and alcohol infested. In this regard it usually stops me from socializing with other people because I'm completely clean. I have a few friends who I hang out with because they are clean like me. My dad has called me antisocial before so I guess I choose to not be that social. The internet is my home. Clopping utterly disgusts me.

So ya I break some of the stereotypes.

Fox news claims i stay home don't work only to file for disability

Uh, What the heck is disability and how does a 17 year old file for it?

Sad thing is if it weren’t for sheer the luck of me joining this fandom early on I might just be believe all of the ridiculous labels put on Bronies. And that’s why news media sometimes scares me. What other things have I been mindlessly misinformed on?

I have a girlfriend.

I am a virgin... but thats because im 15

I dont really have a social life, But that's because im unshooled and living in a very small town where everyone else goes to school.

No im not fat

Do I waist my time ? No. No I do not.

Bronies are gay. No I am not gay.

Bronies are pedophiles. Well... What can I say ?

I dont really know what a stereotype brony would be, So I just kinda took questions that other people have been saying. Also that last one was a joke... in case you didn't get it ;)

  • 9 months later...

I generally lean towards the macabre. I am an avid fan of the horror genre both in film and literature (occassionally games). When I was a small child I gravitated towards world domination rather than being a police officer or fireman. One could say I'm emotionally intense on all fronts.

Well, I'm a 14 year old girl; so I'm not some old, neckbeared pervert. (Which is an extremely stupid stereotype.)

I do have friends and people come to me for advice. (Since some people like to say bronies have no friends.)

Those are some ones I can think of. :3

i don't really besides the whole pedophile and homosexual stereotypes ( just for clarification i am neither )

im a tall (6ft 3 )slightly chubby blonde teenage male with acne and a neck beard and an ever so light mustache (fuck!) and glasses who would rather play dark souls than go out and play sports ( i did however play soccer for 8 or years) i enjoy anime and from time to time listen to classical and 1960"s music and occasionally metal core

i have had a girlfriend BUT AM CURRENTLY SINGLE

still have the virgin label ( but im 17 ) i would rather have a long and meaningful relationship with a woman than be a wam bam thank you maaa wait whats your name againdry.png  kinda guy.

yes i live with me parents and am looking for a part time job over during high school

clopping: admittedly i did seek out  r34, out of curiosity when i entered the fandom sad.png  ( walked in, saw that, walked out) and after closing my computer and kicking it away form me i did not touch it for a month. its pretty fucking bad

and ii dont go shoving mlp down peoples throats like a christian does his religion!

I'm an Electrical Engineer in the Royal Air Force, and I do Mountain Rescue on weekends.  So far I've saved 92 peoples lives, I'd say that breaks most if not all Brony Stereotypes, also I'm 24 and returned from Afghanistan 2 weeks ago....so yeah

Shout:   "I AM A MAN!" (Punch!)

LoL

Serriously tho  Out side of the internet I really have not met anyone that believes in thos steriotypes.  But Most of the people I have talked to about MLPfim already have thier own hobbies that may not always be considered mature.

Gamers, Otaku, Comic fans, Collectors ( have one aunt that loves to collect Snowmen, An aunt and uncle that collect penguins,  I remember my grandmother was a big fan of Beatty Boop.)

Whats odd is it feels like the people who belive in thos stereotypes make it sound like MLP is all we ever watch or think about.

I always sing along when I hear the theme song, I sometimes have a beard. But never anything too much, I kind of obsess over the show but I'm not forcing it on people and I'm not always talking about it. I actually talk more about cars then I do about ponies. But I would still be considered rather obsessed since I don't do anything else really, cars and ponies, that's all.

Still what's wrong with being fat, what's wrong with having a neckbeard? Sometimes you just get lazy while shaving.

I'm skinny and short, I think my height is decent, I'm normal weight considering BMI scale, my social life = brick. I sometimes have a beard, but it's mostly just moustache I sometimes grow, often don't keep it longer then a week or two.

I'm not creepy, I doubt anyone would think I was creepy. I'm just a nice guy, I even look like a nice guy. I'm also not a clopper, have nothing against them. I still live with my parents, not like that's a bad thing.. We have enough space for plenty of cars, so no problems. I love and tolerate, but not everything of course. But I try tolerating people I dislike, but I can't do so when it comes to politics. I can respect peoples opinions, but once I start debating I usually destroy people. But I never debate on the internet.

I'm not like the stereotypes, but you know I buy merch and stuff. I'm not good at them social skills. I'm an introvert, so that's not too much of a surprise. I don't really enjoy parties and stuff, but I do enjoy nice looking cars and some groundshaking bass.

Also, those pedophile and homosexual stereotypes are very stupid. Don't want to go further there, it's just stupid. I mean, how does watching a show make you gay or a pedophile.

Well lets see here

"Bronies are fat"

I am definitely not fat. I'm pretty skinny but not like a stick, I have some muscle

"Virgins"

I'm about to turn 14, sort of illegal not to be a virgin

"No Social Lives"

I do have a social life. Its not a very big one but I have a few very good friends and we always get together hang out whenever possible.

"Jack off to ponies"

I am not a clopper but I don't have anything against people who are.

I'm heterosexual, an adult, virgin only by choice, sports enthusiast, I don't jack off to horses, I don't like anime, I'm basically a frat bro, I have a stable, professional job and college degree, I don't have an OC or ponysona and have no desire to have one, I have a normal and healthy social life, I don't display pony merch, wear pony shirts, brohoof people, use the word "brony" to describe myself, ever talk about pone outside of the internet, and I find the idea of going to a brony meetup or con genuinely horrifying and I likely would be washed away in the tidal waves of spaghetti flowing freely through the area

Do I win the thread?

well, i live in a country where MLP doesn't even air. so i guess thats pretty much against the stereotype. it also shows just how awesome the show is!

I guess I kind of defy being a pansy with the fact that the largest percentage (40-45%) of my vast music library is taken up by metal music. Being a brony didn't change my love for the stuff.

I am patient at home but I have a short fus at school. So people usually try to avoid me because they think if they try to talk to me I will strangle them or something. They also think I am scary because I walk around with a hood up and headphones blasting music. When on the inside I am not so scary considering I am listening to pinkie pie scream smile smile smile!

I generally remain calm and collected and try not to engage with people that would make fun of me. I refrain from discussing the show with people who aren't fellow nerds as well

I have a pretty dark mind for being a Brony... Death Metal ravages my MP3.... Im not usually a gentle person (xept round my family and GF's) Im not OVERLY obsessed with MLP, but i do spend alot of time with it lolz. I honestly dont know how i ever became a brony... its just a good show i guess :)... I am by no means a normal brony

The way I see it just because you watch a show about friendship, doesn't mean you're automatically a friendly person. Being a good person is important but it should come naturally to someone, they shouldn't have to learn it from a cartoon
