As a linguistics enthusiast I love this fact: The word "turkey" (the animal) is "hindi" in Turkish, in Hindi it is "peru", and in Quechua (Peru's most important indigenous language) it's called "turkiya". The circle completes  :lol:

Mega Man is "Rockman" (Rokkuman) in Japan.

Belmont (Castlevania) is "Belmondo" (Berumondo) in Japan.

That explains some things lol

Lots of things. and also the american version kept some the battle scene from the Super Sentai xp.  that's way if you pay attention their body size doesn't match up.

post facts people may or may not know for example 

"Bae" actually means "Before Anyone Else" 

Moot means a matter is still subject for debate 

Modern Soldiers actually normally carry more than what Medieval knights did (including plate Armor which was more for jousting than combat) 

Wifi is actually an Australian invention 

so is the CD Key and DRM (Australia worse than Hitler confirmed)

The Sun is actually named Sol, as in Solar. The Earth has the real name of Terra, as in Terrestrial. The Moon has the name Luna, as in Lunar.

 

Also, nobody is really sure who first started calling Earth "Earth" anyway.

Finnish word for shop has about 2253 possible conjugations, and although all are not used that much, they all mean something and are grammatically right.
