I am single also I have never heard of a spinster? I doubt it means you date fidget spinners. :P

It's basically a word to describe a woman who is single beyond the normal years of marriage. I like to use it as an exaggeration for my single-forever-aloneness. :ButtercupLaugh:

I can relate to the forever loneliness feeling. Brony and pegasister dating sites do not seem to exist. Does not help that I am shy in real life.

Nope, and I love being single!

No, really. I do. :D I’m addicted to feeling super independent and able to do whatever whenever, without having to worry about what someone else might think or feel.

Maybe I’m a little selfish... ;)

I am, in fact today marks 2 years with him. But it just doesn’t feel right sometimes due to the distance. LDRs suck.

That's a mood. My boyfriend lives in the UK. Love him with all my heart but the distance is insane. Not even my girlfriend lives close by, but at least still in the US.

I have been in a relationship now for the past year and a quarter. It's had its rough patches, like a few days ago it got so bad I seriously thought he wanted to break up with me. Kicked me out of his room, he was threatening to kick me completely out of the house, and everything. One thing I'll tell you is that emotional problems are serious business. And another, anxiety can hurt relationships.

Overall, though, it's been a very positive experience. Especially considering my life beforehand was so awful. Having to drink barely potable well-water and live in Texas without AC are both nightmarish prospects. All the while having no internet service at home and having only the same selection of a few movies to keep you entertained... At least a good few of those weren't too bad. Gran Torino, Back to the Future, Lion King... But there was also Despicable Me in there...Bleh. :eww:

EDIT: This relationship though isn't necessarily looking all that healthy in recent days...

No. Things in my life would really need to be straightened out before I could feel like having a relationship. I'd be too much of a burden and would just stress out anyone at this point. If, in the future, I ever come in here and I say I have a relationship make sure and slap me because it means I've become very selfish.

I've gone and done it... So, I need to be slapped.
