Hm good point . Though it's hard to imagine Shining divorcing Candace . Considering what hey went through to get married . But I guess if he and Flash did get together they'd be butt buddies or rather plot buddies . Heh

I totally get if you're not  about romantic shipping though, since turning a friendship into something more really takes away from the magic of friendship (hehe) 

Buuut if I had to ship.. Rarity and Twilight all the way. I just think they'd totally balance eachother out and make the cutest couple

Fluttershy x AppleJack     why ?    because AppleJack is strong, athletic, and compassionate, she fits the bill for a great companion

Lyra x Bon Bon

My reasoning for this is quite simple. Lyra is my faviroute pony due to her design and personality that fanon has given her. I like how she is this out of control pony who is always doing somthing odd. Bon Bon comes in to this as her fanon is that she's the opposite of Lyra: calm, practicle and mainstream in her activities. These two put together make an amazing couple and like it's said "opposites connect" or somthing like that!

Also it was my main reason for liking Rainbow Rocks:

I approve of Flash Sentry x No One, that's like, my favorite shipping of all time. Another I like to support is Rarity and Fancy Pants, but that's about it as far as MLP shipping goes.

Shipping comes from the word relationship. So, conflicting ships don't really work. If you would ship someone with multiple people (or ponies, as the case may be), then you aren't actually shipping them with anyone, because you aren't saying that they should be in a relationship with a particular person.

 

That said, I'm rather reserved with my ships. I don't ship someone (or somepony) unless I actually ship them and think they would work well together. So for MLP, I actually only have two ships.

 

Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich

We only met Cheese once, but based on what I saw, I think he and Pinkie would work well together.

 

 

 

Spike x Sweetie Belle

Everypony knows that Spike has a rather large crush on Rarity. But I don't think that'll work out for a number of reasons, including age, the way she treats him, etc. (Even in those rare times when she's being nice to him just for the sake of being nice, she looks down on him and treats him like a kid. She doesn't treat him like an equal.) But what about Sweetie Belle? She's younger, which means for one thing that she's closer to Spike in age, and it also means that she wouldn't be looking down on him. Sweetie Belle is, well, a sweetie. (Not always, but most of the time, as I see it.) I think that once Spike gets over Rarity, he'll notice Sweetie Belle and end up spending more time with her.

 

 

 

Keep in mind, I'm not wanting to see "romance" with these couples. I want to see them enjoying eachother's company and being best friends.

I think my ships go with the opposites attract mantra. I don't stand by these religiously, I think the just make sense is all. These are just concerning the Mane 6 though.
