What program do you use most and what do you want to learn?

So what's the piece of software that you use most and is there a certain one you'd like to learn? Can we exclude web browsers and game clients. Otherwise i think every second response would be Google Chrome or Steam haha :)

For me i use Autodesk 3D Studio Max. Only because i want to be a Visual Effects Artist and it's, arguably, the best thing for the job. Something i want to learn is Zbrush. It's a modelling package and pretty much the best in it's class. Chances are a lot of the CGI characters you have see in movies are made with it. Learning FL Studio would be pretty handy as well.

On my Macbook: Firefox. Then again, a browser being the most used program is kinda a given. :P Next up would probably be Inkscape. Last would probably be Pages. So yeah, Firefox, Inkscape, Pages pretty much defines my average computer-use day. :P

On my Windows computer my most used program is again, Firefox. :P Then it's Steam. I'm also learning FL Studio (helluva learning curve!) and Paint Tool SAI.

Ms Paint :D I don't use any downloaded softwares excluding Steam and Chrome. I would like to learn to use any 3D modelling software (For making TF2 items), are there any free ones? :3

Well if you were counting browsers, then yes, Chrome. I would have to say I use OneNote a lot. I also use Skype and Fraps. I'm not an arty sort of guy, but I use paint sometimes

Apart from Firefox, the VLC media player is always running in the background.

As for productive software, I use Inkscape and GIMP quite allot, Inkscape for vectoring and GIMP for Photo/Picture editing.

I'd really love to learn how tu use FL Studio, but I am totally incapable of writing any kind of song, so yeah, I'll stay with drawing pictures.

Apart from chrome, I use FL Studio the most, I really like playing around with it and it's so far the best DAW I've used, besides Reason, but It was a bit confusing and the huge CPU usage did'nt let me go so far, but I'm fond with it's granular synthesisers.

I want to learn how to use art softwares, I can draw but I just can't get used to the tablet I got on Christmas, and photoshop :P

As for the productive software, I use QtCreator the most and GIMP is the next one.

QtCreator is great IDE for C++ mostly aimed fot Qt library, but can be also used for non-qt applications. I like the text editor here very much - it saves me a lot of time doing some boring actions for me( like finding function/class/variable declaration/definition, code completition, highlighting ... ).

EDIT: and the program I would like to learn is inkscape, so I can make those nice SVGs ^^

The program I use the most is Finale Print Music. It is my main music-making software. I would like to learn how to use FL Studio, for this is a highly-favored music tool that most music bronies use.

probably MPC-HC or CCleaner. Practically all I use the PC for is to browse the web and watch videos and stuff. I also use Notepad++ and Visual Studio quite a bit but fun > work for me most of the time, but maybe that'll change.

The software I use the most is FL studio (I don't know how to use it very well :P )

I guess if I was going to learn another software it would be Reason. I have heard it's better than FL Studio

Foobar2000 is my most used. Even with web browsers (Firefox) and game clients (which I don't have), it's still at the top, since it's always running in the background. Whenever there's no audio from games or videos or anything, then it's playing something.

What I want to learn? Well, it'd be nice to be able to vector with Inkscape. I'm not too interested in that though.I'd like to learn how 2 C++, and Qt, just so I could give back to the wonderful people who work hard to make FOSS.

Flash, photoshop, and winamp (gotta have my music). i usually have these open, winamp all the time though XD sometimes i have the need to sketch out somthing random, photoshop's there. For flash, its open there to minimize my procrastination, so i can get back to working on my projects easily XD

Oh, and a program id like to learn? probably Blender, i know some pretty amazing animators out there using this^^ It is free, but i'm lazy, and i still have my trusty flash :P

Amarok (a music player). I almost always have it in the background playing either relaxing or epic music. I actually have a few hotkeys to change my playlists from one to the other depending on my mood. GIMP would be a close second because of how darn useful it is when I'm making minor tweaks to my photographs.

As for what I would like to learn, I really don't know. What I want to learn is not so much a program but a programming language.

I always have Flash open. I don't know how to use Photoshop or Inkscape, but Flash has always been able to do what I need it to, it's even what I use to make my art. I would like to learn how to use Photoshop and Inkscape though. :P

The program i use the most (Other than games/steam/browsers etc.) is probably Microsoft Visual Studio, i don't really think i should count that as i have to use it for University work. The program i use the most that isn't one that i HAVE to use would be Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 & Sony Vegas Pro 12 (yes, they are both legit copies), i use them for my YouTube videos, so you can bet they are open a lot.

A close second would be iTunes, i'm nearly always listening to music through it.

I'd say Tie between Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop CS6. What I /have/ but want to be able to use without sucking/it crashing is my tablet and flash. Flash always crashes after drawing. One. Single. Line.

Colors 3D for the 3DS. Simple and easy program to use. Probably the only art program able to create art in 3D. Great for me, since I don't have a tablet and don't have the drawing skills to warrant buying one. I'm trying to learn GIMP, but I'm failing miserably.

Uh, Skype, foobar2000, and Paint.net sometimes... Although, I was using Notepad++ a lot for awhile because of HTML class... I don't think I'm taking Javascript next semester though, so I dunno if I'm gonna be using it much anymore (unless I ever get around to teaching myself C++, which probably won't ever happen).

I'm trying to learn how to FL studio, as well. It's a pretty slow process, but I enjoy fiddling with it.
