Mane 6: Twilight Sparkle. I'm basically a messier, more unfortunate Twilight in my waking life. I've always related to her and in a way she's inspired me on ways to deal with my own, similar issues in earlier seasons.

Secondary: Applebloom, for being adorable, having a great accent and having enthusiasm in everything even if it gets messy.

Background: Ruby Pinch. While she's never had any canon dialogue, I love the fanon interpretations of her, being an absolute force of filly nature and being cute and crazy. Reminds me of how I was, when I had energy

I really enjoy to watch Cozy Glow for her personality and how she is able to interact with other characters! Her faces are so great and I find amusement in how sly she is. I could consider her favourite pony, indeed!
However, I really couldn't choose between any other pony in the show. Some a bit more than others- but pinned at the top is definitely Starlight and Cozy! Otherwise, they all have their flaws and great personalities that I just can't get enough of no matter how much of the show I watch, and I could really go on all day about each of them!

But in reality, who couldn't?

I love Pinkie Pie because she is always happy and trying to cheer up everybody and bring smiles to everyone's faces, which is also what I believe is the most important thing, happiness.

Fluttershy because I felt like a matured socially along with her when the show was still running. I also believe that kindness is a really important quality in a person and it should be expressed more often.

I love Luna. I think because she used to be a villain and then she reform but yet still know she was a bad guy and always feels like she don't belong where she is, her character have a dark side that I just love !
And he represent the moon, the moon that is to me, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I love the moon and Luna is directly connected to it.
 
I feel like her and I have a connection, sometime when I look at her I see myself.


And she's beautifull let's not forget about that

Best of the mane 6: Applejack and Rainbow Dash (tied). 

Best pony race: Pegasus

Best Wonderbolts: Soarin and Misty Fly.

Best princess: Princess Cadence 

Best male ponies: Soarin, Braeburn, and Sandbar.

Best background pony: Sassaflash

Best CMC: Apple Bloom

That was hard to vote on, but Best Pony for me is probably Fluttershy because I really relate to her so much and I grew with her as the show progressed. My favorite background pony is probably Lyra because of 'Anthropology' or Octavia, but I also really like Pipsqueak. My favorite member of the Student Six is probably Smolder because I like her character development and her girly side, but I also really like Yona and Ocellus. My favorite CMC is either Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle, it's way too difficult to decide.

Overall, there is a 4 way tie to my favorite pony as of now: Rainbow Dash, Lightning Dust, Luna and king Sombra are my favorites.

For only secondary characters I would say Scootaloo with either Trixie or starlight a close second.

For background characters I really like Lyra(and bonbon), Minuette and Lemon hearts.

Truthfully I don't know.. When I was originally involved in the fandom I really liked Pinkie Pie, Bab Seed, Twist, and Vinyl Scratch. Now after significant time has passed I really just want to say Minty even though she was barely represented in the show, since she was my favorite in the previous gens when I was a child. I still like Twist as a filly but I wasn't really impressed with how she looked in the finale.

I guess for now I'd say Pinkie Pie, Derpy, Sweetie Belle. If we are counting nonpony character's I'd also sat Smolder (who would be at the top of my list) and Thorax.
