  1. Well, from what I believe, giving Twilight a boyfriend could possibly go against the original image of the show set by Mrs. Faust; not delving into the girly stereotypes that were present in previous generations. While it would be interesting to see how this would be pulled off by DHX, I don't think it's worth doing. At least not right now. Twilight has already overgone a major change recently, what with her
  2. Fighting games are probably some of the cruelest games to learn. Any of the Super Smash Bros. games or PlayStation All-Stars are definitely the easiest to pick-up on. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is pretty easy to pick-up on for a more complex fighting experience though, since it basically has only three attack buttons that can be easily chained together. Racing games, just go for any Mario Kart game. It sells so well because of how easy it is for anyone to learn to play and have a good time with it. For Shooters, I'd say Call of Duty. You don't need a lot of skill to be good at it. Sports, yeah, probably FIFA. Especially if you play it with a friend. RPGs are a tough one, because you usually require a lot of strategy and knowledge of them to progress in them. But as a personal game, Digimon World 2003 was not too punishing. Sure, you will probably die quite a lot if you're careless and travel too far into areas, but if you keep a stash of items with you and give your Digimon upgrades, you'll be levelling up fast; once you reach your first Digivolve, it's pretty hard to die. But non-personally, Pokémon is pretty good. And Platformers, which goes to Mario games IMO.
  3. 1) She's glamourous! 2) She makes fine dresses for herself and other ponies. 3) Her mane is the most complex out of the Mane 6, therefore is the best. 4) This. http://youtube.com/watch?v=c7hrYUeCvpw 5) She has some of the most enjoyable episodes in the show (so glad she'll be getting another in Season 4). 6) The amount of depth in her personality is simply incredible, making her a great character to feature in episodes. 7) The love thing between her and Spike needs more attention, as it is a really interesting plot. 8) She has a soft spot for her little sister, which is cute ^^ 9) Tabitha St. Germain. 10) Her many whines, screams and breakdowns. 11) She has shown that she can handle her own, whether it be in a fight or a kidnapping, despite her rather contrasting perception at first. 12) Brilliant name!
  4. Me: "You watch My Little Pony? Cool." I honestly didn't care. They watch a TV show targeted at little girls, so what? I'd really make myself look like an idiot if I did respond negatively, because it would only be prejudice of me to do so. Granted, I only knew about bronies a few days before I became one, but I usually don't change opinions that often.
  5. I have a rather weird set of vidya game crushes, but don't judge, k? Felicia from Darkstalkers Effie from Street Fighter III Sophie from Everybody's Golf: World Tour Princess Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy And Naomi from Corpse Party. Because why not?
  6. I was born in the month that was made into a rather catchy song by Earth, Wind & Fire. That's September if you don't know that song. September the 8th, to be exact. It's nice having a birthday relatively early into a month; makes you more excited for that month to come
  7. Jet Set Radio Future This is a bit of a burden for me. I've had the game since launch and, despite all of the hours I spent playing through the game, I never managed to beat the final boss. I don't know if it was because reaching him was tough or if I just sucked at the game in general, but I'll never know since the disc ended up breaking a few years ago The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Yet another game I've spent a great amount of time on, I was never able to even get to the final boss. This can be explained though - my first playthrough was glitched. One of the main characters I needed present for the main quest disappeared for good. I made a second file a year later and he appeared, but I honestly couldn't be arsed doing it. Ratchet & Clank Another burdening game, I never actually beat the final boss in this either. I got to the last level, but I stopped playing the game after that point for some odd reason. Shame, as I really did enjoy that game.
  8. I first heard about ponies on an old forum I used to go on. I was starting to see a few notable posters change their avatars to ponies, and I was kinda curious to see what was going on. I bumped into an MLP topic on that forum and had a look around; everyone was spamming pony pics xD But I decided to ask what all the fuss was about, and the other members said that MLP was a good show. They recommended that I watch it (I did) and I became a Brony about two days later
  9. I used to be a frequent poster on older forums, but for this one I mostly just do some lurking around. I don't delve into discussion as much as I used to, and I only really post in topics related to video games now.
  10. None other than Banjo-Kazooie! Man, all the hours I put into that game as a kid, and I still own the cartridge to this day! It really has to be one of the finest examples of a platformer done right: big, open worlds that follow certain themes, lots of things to collect, unlockable power-ups to help you progress through the story, great characters, good sense of humour, wonderful music score (by the great Grant Kirkhope no less), engaging final boss battle, and just so many positive aspects.
  11. Rewatching the episodes from time-to-time. They always manage to put a smile on my face I also generally keep up with fan-made pony videos like animations or music, which show that the community still has the creativity burning. I'm also highly anticipating Season 4! I really can't wait to see what new stuff we'll see in it.
  12. I'm afraid of: - Spiders - Insects coming towards me - Loud, continuous noises in the dark - Black cloaks in my bedroom at night - Downstairs toilets - Deep water
  13. Quavers. Seriously, everyone I know doesn't like them for some reason. I absolutely love them! I especially crave the Prawn flavoured ones.
  14. This be good news! Hasbro finally putting out some digital MLP stuff for console gamers. I've seen a video of the RD pet and, well, it looks kinda weird and has a poor-quality rainbow trail (LOL). But hey, it's either that or nothing. I own a PS3 though, not a 360, so this makes me kinda jelly. But I'm hoping that Hasbro do something similar for PSN as well like pony profile pics or dynamic themes (no PS Home BS). I'd buy them all!
  15. Yeah, I agree that it's mostly generic (House is the absolute worst for that), although I'm rather interested in some EDM artists' styles of music, and I like to see how they use their styles in their music and possibly even change it as they grow as a producer. Tut Tut Child is an example; loved his style ever since "Dance To It", but I also loved his "Hummingbird" track which was a significant change from his usual style. But I also like to mix in some calmer music as well, especially (Nu) Disco. Chillout and Trance are cool in my books, too.
  16. I've been finding less EDM tracks recently that really catch my interest. Monstercat, one of my favourite music labels, has went on an Electro run for the last month, coughing up nearly six in a row. This was unfortunate for me because Electro is actually my least favourite genre on Monstercat; barely any of the Electro songs stick out to me (with a few exceptions like "Sexy Beast" and "House"), and not even the great Noisestorm's latest release caught my interest. Not saying these are outright bad tracks though, just expected a bit more from them. But I have found a few great tracks, one even from the mighty Muzzy called "Just Do It", which is an Electro song I think (oh, the hypocrisy), but it feels more like the DnB songs that he puts out with the gritty bass and hectic pacing. There's also a song called "Y2K" released over on Spread The Jams (although I've heard it has also been on Trap & Bass), and it's basically a mix of Neuro and Trap, which is an obscure combo but is surprisingly affective! Definitely caught me off-guard with this one, STJ And finally an older track. I was listening through Monstercat's 011 album, one of the less popular albums on my iPod, and I stumbled across "Dreams" by Rogue. I can't believe how overlooked it was! I listen to a lot of Rogue, but coming back to this amazing Drumstep track, I can say it is probably Rogue's best track. It's both beautiful and hard-hitting, and it's frickin' Drumstep! Need I say more?
  17. Well, I don't know if I actually make artwork or not (more or less just "mess around" with my ideas), but I usually use programs on the computer for this. I don't have a graphics tablet, although I do plan on getting one, so I have to use my mouse to do all the work. I started off with GIMP, which is good for a free program, but personally it had an off-putting, bland UI and didn't offer that many tools that I would find useful; the ones that were didn't work very well. So I was quick on finding a new program like it, and I came across Pixelmator on the Mac App Store. People were saying that it was a very good program, most comparing it to Photoshop, and I can quite frankly agree with that. It is essentially Photoshop but way cheaper (£10.49). Been using it since. I also use it along with some vector-producing programs, my favourite one being iDraw.
  18. In no chronological order... PlayStation That's just my PlayStation games, and the digitals are only from my main account (I have 3 other accounts with games on them). I might add in the rest for other platforms if I can be bothered LOL
  19. Batman & Robin Yup, I went there. Well, I last watched this film when I was like 8 years old, so my opinion might be different now. But as a child, I actually found it a good way of wasting time, and I ended up watching it like twenty times for some reason. Grown Ups I actually can say that I like this film currently. I watched it with my family, and it got quite a few laughs out of us. It might just be that I'm an Adam Sandler fanboy though (I absolutely adored his older films!) Johnny English I've heard some negatives from people about this film, but I say screw 'em! It's James Bond mixed with Mr. Bean; what more could you want from a Spy-Comedy film? It's funny, ridiculous, and doesn't get old and uninteresting. The sequel wasn't too shabby either.
  20. Nope, not a single bit. I love MLP, and I will most likely stick to that opinion for years to come. I'll admit though, it was rather akward having to tell my family about it, and I thought I'd never manage to do it. But I did, and they were perfectly fine with it (my mum even finds it adorable ^^). That gave me the strength to tell my friends, and they're cool with it too; one even gave the show a chance and quite liked it. I've never been picked on by anyone for liking the show, except for my obnoxious brother (although I usually just ignore him anyways LOL). And hopefully it stays that way
  21. -SARPBC. Spent quite a while getting every single star in the "Campaign" mode, but I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on its online. So addictive! -GTA IV. Spent hundreds of hours online and offline just causing havoc everywhere. -LBP and LBP2. All those hours of Creating levels and playing others'. -Uncharted 3. Countless Co-Op matches, and the entire campaign (which was epic!).
  22. I've owned quite a few gaming consoles in my 16 years of existing: PlayStation Nintendo Microsoft SEGA And I also had a computer at my Dad's house, on which I would play some good old Civilization
  23. My favourite fizzy drink would probably be Coca-Cola; fresh outta the freezer preferably. It's very refreshing! Traditionally however, I'd say IRN-BRU with me being a Scot and all. Tastes amazing out of the can Energy drink-wise, I'd say original MONSTER as it gives me a good buzz. But I also like a bit of Rockstar to keep up the variety. Red Bull just simply doesn't live up to its price, and Nae Danger (a fairly new local drink) just leaves a horrible taste after a few slugs. For fruit juices, it's orange juice all the way And alcohol, eh, nope. I'm strictly against it. I tried it out a few times; some Vodka and a can of lager mixed with some Vimto, but it all just tastes rancid.
  24. I have a Late 2009 iMac. I didn't have a computer for myself, so I decided to just get a cheap one off of Gumtree. Works fine and dandy, no problems with it; was able to upgrade it from SL to ML smoothly. The specs I can remember are: -2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo -2GB 1067MHz DDR3 RAM -256MB Nvidia GeForce 9400 Now, the specs are obviously not that prime (at least not for gaming, which I don't do on PC), but hey, they get me around for day-to-day use of the Internet and programs. I've been considering upgrading the RAM to 8GB (the max it can reach), but I'll most likely buy a newer iMac in about a year or two.
  25. Been playing Melee for AGES now, and I started using Pikachu a lot when I first started playing (probably for the Storm attack LOL). But I quickly moved onto who would be an all-time favourite for me: Fox McCloud. He's fast, can pack a good punch with his kicks, and he just looks cool. I've recently started using Samus a bit more, but my main is still Fox, although I sometimes tend to pick Mewtwo when playing with friends. For Brawl, eh, I can't really remember. I didn't play it that long after I completed the Sub-Space Emissary.
