  1. Well... It's aesthetically appealing The characters are extremely relatable Some of the problems the ponies face reflect situations I've been in The lessons are valuable, even if they can be cliche It brings my sister and I closer together I've noticed I tend to adopt qualities of the main characters, such as becoming more honest I can learn how to handle many unique problems that aren't addressed much The list just goes on.
  2. Nope. Socializing is never wasteful, no matter how it's done. Texting, calling, Skyping , whatever it is, it's important to us humans to speak with others. Forums is just a different way of communication.
  3. Maybe those other alicorns exist out there, maybe they don't. Until they make an appearance in the show, I won't think much of them.
  4. Parakeet Song gets jealous fairly easy, but she never shows it until the feeling gets strong enough.
  5. For me, Twilight reminds me of myself. I used to read all the time and I hardly had any friends. After a while, I opened up and learned that books aren't everything and I need friends in my life. Now I still love reading, but I also have much more friends than I used to. Also, she's purple, my second favorite color.
  6. While it's not as big as Doctor Who, Star Trek, and some other big franchises, MLP is still large enough to be remembered. We still have fans of G1 30 years later, for one thing. If this franchise can last 30 years, it won't easily be forgotten.
  7. All I can say is that if such a thing existed, I'd participate.
  8. I've seen OCs with similar colors, but mine seems unique for the most part. You don't see many ponies with Clydesdale-like hooves.
  9. While it wasn't the best start for the season, it wasn't entirely all that bad. Everyone who is saying it's bad is only looking at the negative aspects of the premier. This is only the start of the season. There's still much more to come, and what we've seen is only the tip of the iceberg.
  10. I can imagine Hasbro just moving FiM to Netflix entirely, but only if they absolutely needed to. Enough people apparently watch it on Discovery Family that it's okay to keep it there. Maybe when cable becomes so uncommon that not a lot of people have it.
  11. I only occasionally wear my shirts, but I wear a pony dogtag necklace nearly everyday day, along with my Trixie pin.
  12. If I remember correctly, didn't she nearly sell out the day they first released her back in August? I'm pretty sure she did, then they put a purchase limit on her. Anyway, I truly hope they keep her around in time for my birthday at the end of June. I don't have the money for her right now.
  13. Most people I've told either don't care, or become my friend. Only once has someone been confused about it all, but I don't even see them much anymore. Besides, I don't really bring it up unless I know the person really well or they see my shirts or something else I'm wearing or have with me. And a lot of people who do know are aware of how I pretty much collect the toys from all generations, so they don't really see my interest of the show as something important. They just notice my collection. So yeah. Most people who accept it just think of it as some sort of vintage collection and completely forget I even watch the show.
  14. I only drink it because it's my only option most of the time. I've never had any issues with it, either.
  15. I personally love the ode of Flurry Heart being an alicorn. Most likely, this will help us get an explanation on whether or not Celestia and Luna were born alicorns, or if they became alicorns later on. Just look at this as a chance to learn more about alicorns.
  16. I still am devoted to the show and toy lines. The ponies have helped me through rough times, and I can't see myself leaving.
  17. I haven't been to my local Build-A-Bear since January, but each time I've gone, I've always noticed that certain ponies are there one week, and replaced with another one the next. One employee said this is because they can't keep them all in stores at once and some have to go to make room for others once in a while, and then they'll be brought back later on. I have no idea if this is true, though. I don't think that you can currently buy them pre-stuffed, but then again, I've never purchased on online. But a lot of other plushies they make tend to be available as pre-stuffed, including the Smurfs and Avengers bears. There's a possibility that in the future the ponies will be part of that, but considering how popular they tend to be, I can't see that happening anytime soon. Also, you can always get stuffed ones off of eBay.
  18. It's not the best, but it's not the worse. For me, life is currently just acceptable and bearable.
  19. No, because even if I did have a waifu, I'd still accept that they are a fictional character and could never exist in our world.
  20. I wouldn't go. It's obviously not making you comfortable just thinking about going. You could probably wait for a meet up in a better area.
  21. I doubt it. G3 wasn't all that great to begin with, and if they used the same style in FiM, people would assume it's the same show and ignore or ridicule it. Plus, today, G3's animation is very low quality. It wouldn't stand a chance. The animation is a huge part of what makes FiM successful. Without it, we wouldn't have attracted so many animators who create amazing fan created content.
  22. It's only a possibility that Season 6 will be low quality. There's still hope that it will be amazing. But considering how short this hiatus was, I do believe it won't necessarily be the best season. But in the end, we can appreciate we even have this much pony. Most children's shows don't even make it this far.
  23. I personally don't mind if there are love interests or not. That's not why I watch the show and I couldn't care less. Although, I do like the idea of teaching young children not to worry about finding their special someone. The ponies steer their little minds away from true love and instead teach them more important things. Young children don't need to worry about finding their true love at such an age, and it's best not to introduce them to those things until they're older and understand what love is better.
  24. While you can't make a living directly off of MLP, you can probably find a way to incorporate ponies into your job, especially if you're an artist. Some custom plushie makers will make ponies, for example. Maybe an artist will do a pony themed commission, or someone will make a pony fursuit. It's not directly MLP, but it's as close as one can get.
  25. Sadly, I don't know of any good slippers that exist. I've seen some in several stores before, but they were obviously meant for toddlers. I'm sure they'll pop up someday, but for now it looks like you'll need to deal with normal slippers. Unless you have unusually small feet and can wear the toddler slippers.
