  1. Most fans are pretty kind and caring, and there aren't many people to watch out for. (There are still people you should avoid.) Sometimes we fans take things to seriously, but that usually isn't the case with everyone. If you don't like anything NSFW, try to avoid cloppers. I'm not saying they're bad, but anyone who is bothered by anything NSWF would want to stay clear of them. But mostly, you'll enjoy it here. You may come across some arguments here and there, but this fandom is probably the kindest out there.
  2. Out of curiosity, I once had hot sauce on cake, which can't be that much different than hot sauce on a cupcake. It was terrible. Definitely not as good as frosting on pizza. (Yes, I've tried that too.)
  3. I know, but my point is that people can still see all three of those movies. I don't expect everyone to see them all that same weekend. Maybe one movie one weekend, and another the next, or maybe a couple weeks after.
  4. As others have pointed out, the release dates are a month and a half apart. That's plenty of time in between, so pony has a good chance. Plus, it's not like I'm going to avoid seeing one movie just because another good one is coming out. I can easily see Pony, Thor, and Star Wars each. And I'm sure others will, too.
  5. Can I just go one day without feeling terrible >.<

Q: What did the little tree say to the big tree?

      A: Leaf me alone!

Aaahhhh the magic of this place :)

  6. Definitely, yes. I tend to be a pretty negative person, but the show has changed that a bit. Now when I'm feeling down, I have something to pick me back up.
  7. Some of my best friends are a group of three sisters. The two twins a couple of weeks older than my sister and I and their little sister. We've been best friends ever since we were just babies, when our moms met in the baby isle of Wal-Mart. We would hang out all the time, but right before we started school, they moved halfway across the country. It wasn't until six years later that they'd move back here and we'd be reunited. Now they live only 45 minutes away, and we can see each other so much more.
  8. Some names, like Cadence, might work for a real person's name. But Pinkie Pie isn't an okay name for a child. It all depends on the name itself.
  9. When I first started getting into Harry Potter, the only movie we had in the series was the Sorcerer's Stone on VHS. I would watch it so much, and I loved the fuzzy picture and the audio. It was like my childhood haf come back. VHS will always be better.
  10. Oh, gosh, middle school was the weirdest part of my life. So in eighth grade, I had an amazing art teacher. I respected her, but others seemed to despise her. Why? Because they didn't want to do the work. How lazy. So these kids talked back to her and naturally, this teacher would get mad back. I was literally the only one in the whole school who knew that the only way to get someone's respect was to be kind to them in the first place. And that's how I was the only reasonable student in the whole school. Then in elementary school, my fourth grade teacher had the best April fool's prank I've ever known. About a month before April fool's, she said her husband got a new job and that she'd move, leaving us with a new teacher in the middle of the school year. For the next month, she proceeded to act like she was getting ready to leave, and even took down posters and shelves. Then, on the first of April, she told us it was all a joke and she would never leave us.
  11. I tend to tell other people that not everything is about them, yet sometimes I'll act like the world revolves around me. I'm working hard on it, though.
  12. For me, it all depends on the person. If they're young and still learning, they won't know every rule of grammar and mistakes are acceptable. If they're older and have been taught how to use proper grammar, they should use it. There's no excuse to avoid using proper grammar if you know it. However, learning disabilities exist. I have a close friend who has one, and is a year behind in school. He doesn't always use proper grammar, mainly because it's not easy for him. In this case, it's understandable why someone wouldn't use proper grammar. I do feel like using grammar correctly is important, but pointing out another person's mistakes online isn't always the best thing to do. You don't know them, after all. Maybe they haven't had the opportunity to learn it yet. Maybe they have a learning disability. But if someone knows proper grammar, they should always use it.
  13. Her big appearance in Slice of Life was no different than the appearances of other background characters who got the spotlight. That was a one-time thing, and Derpy is still meant for the background.
  14. I'd reflect on how much the show meant to me and continue watching reruns. I doubt the fandom will die with it. After all, many people have put so much time into fan made content.
  15. Hiding it is what makes people feel uncomfortable about it in the first place. Acting like you need to hide something makes the thing you're hiding look bad. Just tell her it's a TV show and nothing more. After all, that is really all it is.
  16. Honestly, I don't care. Multiple people will like the same pony, just like multiple girls will crush on the same celebrity.
  17. I've watched this video before, and I honestly didn't care. The real cringe-worthy people are the haters who comment on these videos in the first place.
  18. Hopefully this is a sign the hiatus won't be as long this time around. I really don't want to wait until this fall for more pony.
  19. Dating a fellow fan would be nice, but I honestly have no intentions of having a love interest in my life. I feel the need to be alone a lot and maintain a relationship like that doesn't interest me at all. Of course, having close friends who love the show would be enjoyable. I just don't want to date.
  20. I'm very open about it, and not once has it caused me any trouble. I feel that people shouldn't hide things they enjoy, since nobody will care enough to make fun of you. Plus, people you're close to will have a better understanding of who you are as a person.
  21. A close friend has a bunch of cards, but our attempt to play only ended in confusion. I'd love to learn, but finding other bronies in this city is a challenge.
  22. Considering the fact that I'm female, I always thought liking ponies was normal for someone like me. But when I was little, I hated girly things. Instead of playing with dolls and ponies, I played with trucks and planes and stuff like that. Now I like girly things, and I think that confused my family and friends a bit.
  23. Although I wasn't in this fandom back then, I find this heartbreaking. RIP.
