Do you have a beard? Do you like beards?

I like beards. I think many people wear them well, though I'm personally on and off about them myself. Sometimes I get lazy and don't shave for an extended period, then I decide I enjoy the bearded look and stick with it for a while until I find it becomes too itchy and shave it off again. It's a bit of an odd relationship I have with beards. :P

I had been shaving regularly most of my life, trying out different facial hair bits.. decided I'd try to go for a full beard about 4 months ago. I don't think it looks too bad. My dad has always had his beard so I have a good idea of what I'll be able to rock if I let it keep growing. Just keep the neck clean, whatever you do.

Yes, indeed I have a beard. The longest in my family. I'm at the very least a 3rd generation beard grower. A little over 6" of my chin Scott Ian style.

Remember gentleman: Real men don't shave.

sadly dont own a beard (yet) but anyone got suggestions when growing one besides let it go mad?

Perhaps you could start out with a certain style, for the longest time I had a plain mustache. It's a good way to at least be able to say you have a beard and whether you like it or not.

I have a very big beard, and I am proud of it! But, my parents try their hardest to make me get rid of it.

Know the struggle bro, it's difficult when everyone tells you to shave.

Try out this ebook by Antonio Centeno and Eric Bandholz

Edit: Beard Baron on YouTube has plenty of great resources.

Why yes, I do have a beard. It's still growing out, but it's long enough that I've gotten into the habit of stroking it.

I was initially frustrated at the appearance of facial hair, but it keeps me warm, so I'm not complaining anymore.

So I grow my beard for a snake/big boss cospaly back in 2013 and I like the way it look so much that I have had it ever since. I like the way it feels in the winter and the summer (the sweat goes down my beard and not my face in the summer) I grew it out kind of long this summer as you can see in the first 2 photos when I was driving my freedom-moble

In my time of facial decoration experimentation, I have tried the chin strap, the way too long goatee, the full beard, the handlebar mustache, and I have finally settled back on the more conservative goatee. I cannot imagine myself without facial hair.

I have a beard My beard style is hard to explain. It is a combination of a goatee and a moustache (I don't know if there is a name for this style). I also like other men with beards. But the beard must fits to the face and the beards must also be neat.

Yes, I maintain a sort of semi-goatee, 5 o'clock shadow sort of thing. The hair on my cheeks and upper jawline don't grow thick enough for a full beard so I shave that off and keep stubble on my chin and jaw. I think it looks alright. If I could grow a more full beard then I would. I hate being clean shaven. I just have a personal disdain for appearing too clean.

I used to have a fairly long, full beard when I played full-time in a metal band.  Since got a razor (gasp!) and shaved the sides.  Kept a full goatee, with the chin bit staying longish.

But then, I kept (and plan to keep) my long hair to go with it. ;D

With full-beard (bonus: pony shirt!).

And now just a goatee.
