Ever met anyone famous? How was it?

Yes, I've met several Christian bands, but for autographs.

We Are Leo, Rapture Ruckus, Disciple, the Rhett Walker Band, Silverline, Everfound, and one other that I don't remember. I recall the lead singer from Rapture Ruckus ruffling my hair as he passed by on his way to the autograph table. Being a huge fangirl at the time, I just about died. The girls around me were all like O.o Wow...

For those who know her, I met Canadian singer Nikki Yanofsky.

Y'all might know her from this, or singing the anthem at Vancouver 2010:

I've met Fred and George from Harry Potter, Castles daughter from Castle, Andrea Libman voice actor of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, and the actor of Discord. (I forget most of the actors names. Only reason I remember Andrea is because I have her signature. Yeah, I really would have loved to get Discords but it was $50 and I had already used $20 for Andrea. Didn't have enough.)

Anyway, they were all amazing experiences! All of them were the sweetest people. My heart was in my throat for Andrea though. Really nervous there. But all worth what I got from it!

Yep! I met a hugely popular Irish comedian called "Tommy Tiernan" in an old but brilliant pub which I go to often. It was after one of his shows, and apprently he likes the pub because it's so old and secluded. I approached him and shook his hand, and he saluted me with his pint, so I was happy :D

So, I used to work at a casino. I'm on the job less than a month as a blackjack dealer and I come back out to my table after a break and sitting therevis Bishop himself. Lance Henrikson. I seriously had to rope in the fanboy moments.

Also on that job, I got to talk music with Burton Cummings of the Guess Who.

I've met several SF authors at conventions, including William Gibson, Spider Robinson, and A.E. Van Vogt.

Yeah, I have John De Lancie's autograph already, but that's because I was a fan of his other annoying omnipotent character. :)

I'm big into collecting autographs, so I go out to meet celebrities a lot at conventions, and signings. My favorites that I've met are William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd, John De Lancie, Stan Lee, and Robert Englund. They're all really nice people in real life.

Only met a few celebs, and all great experiences except one.

Good

Tara Strong- met her at Wizard World last year and she was really nice, though her sense of humor was surprisingly dirty. Not that that was bad, just surprising. She also signed my Twilight Sparkle figure for me! :D

Stan Lee- My best celeb experience. I was checking out some comics with my friend at Wizard World two years ago when I heard a familiar voice behind me say "I suggest that one." I looked behind me and there was Stan Lee smiling at me before walking back to his agent. I never knew which comic he was referring to, but I've always been a big Stan Lee fan and I was excited by how he reached out to his fans.

Chris Kennedy- Met him as kid when my mom worked as his secretary. Very nice man, and let me borrow one of his decks of cards and even showed me how to build a house of cards.

Dr. Thomas Holtz Jr- Probably not a name you're familiar with, but he's a big name in paleontology. I met him at Paleofest 2012 at the Burpee Museum in Rockford, Illinois. He was giving a presentation on Tyrannosaurid ontogeny and was very happy to answer my question on superprecociality in large theropods. As a foremost expert on the subject, his answer was finally able to let me shut up a pesky group of snobs who were insisting Tyrannosaurus wasn't a good parent.

Bad

Jack Horner- the famous paleontologist is a complete jerk. Met him at Paleofest last year and he completely snubbed me. He refused to sign my book he wrote on T. rex (the guy has some odd vendetta against the poor predator), and seemed utterly disinterested in being at the event period.

I met / knew / attended school with a member of a band that started up where I used to live.  Last time I saw him, he was describing how they were getting recognition from bands they used to listen to / admire...  And he said this while picking out free clothes that were being dispensed / provided by a church.  Ummm...

Never really cared for their music, tbh. xD

My mom met several famous people, though.  Bill Cosby (who said some could-be-interpreted-as-flirty thing about her lol) and almost Elvis (she saw him from a distance while talking to one of his relatives outside his home).

I've had a couple of celebrity commissions with my custom ponies~

First was back in 2010, to make a custom of Micah from the 90's horror movie Children of The Corn II, to reside with Micah's actor Ryan Matthew Bollman.

Then in 2012, a custom popped up and wanted to make me a custom of Queen Regina from Once Upon a Time to be signed by Regina's acress, Lana Parilla.

It got signed and photographed with her~

Customer asked Lana how she liked the custom, so judging her reaction she decided to have me make a fuller custom to send to Lana as a gift~

So this one now resides with Lana Parilla~

And I'm to say, that is the closest thing to meeting a celebrity I have. I'm watching Ryan's fan page on Facebook, and got to see his personal reaction to the Micah pony~ was something special~  :)

Yes, quite a few celebs. They are all normal people ... except Ray Liotta. Saw him try and run down a Vietnamese kid with a golf cart while a worried Dennis Leary sat in the passenger side holding a cigar. I sh!t you not that really happened.

He's well known in the NASCAR/motor racing world, I met Justin Lofton! He's a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racer, as well as a Stadium Super Truck driver. He's well known locally in my area as he was born & raised here. He was at a 4th of July festival last year and to me it was a surprise that he'd be there. I was pretty stoked to get an autographed picture of him as well as get a picture taken. As a NASCAR fan I can still say it's pretty surreal.

Let's just say I have befriended a few famous people and met MOST of the ones I like to meet. I've grown up and worked in the music industry. AEG is the company I side with all the time because I know and worked with people from that company, so therefore I only get credentials and tickets for their shows only. I could tell you a few list of friends I have:

Jacoby Shaddix and members (Papa Roach): I met Jacoby since Edgefest 16 and we became friends since Cruefest.

Shaun Morgan and members (Seether): I first met Shaun at Edgefest 15 and also became friends at the next show.

Clark Vogeler (Toadies): I first met him at Edgefest 15 through mutual friends.

Of course, I had SO many memories with them, and I am looking forward to seeing them when they get back to my location during their tours, and that is all I have to say about those two. I've also met Corey Taylor and James Root (Stone Sour/Slipknot) and Joey Jordison (Scar the Martyr/ex-Slipknot). I Met Jonathan Davis (Korn) at Freakers Ball. that is all I can remember for now. It really has been an ongoing adventure and is still going to be an ongoing adventure for me.

They aren't really famous: Edith Mitchell (a singer), Harlem Désir, and some others I don't remember...

So no, not really.
