Miles 2,512 January 30, 2017 Share January 30, 2017 This question was one of the common questions asked in the slightly recent phenomena called the "accent challenge," but it was the most interesting question to me... And the reason is that I've never seen anyone answer the way my parents and I refer to the device. My parents and I refer to this device as "the switch" like, "hey can you pass the [tv] switch" most of the time. So, where are you from, and what term do you use to refer to this device? Will Guide 21,360 January 30, 2017 Share January 30, 2017 Remote is what I call it. I wouldn't call it the Switch, because as a Nintendo gamer, I'll be getting their new video game system this March and I don't want to cause confusion. Brony Number 42 10,069 January 30, 2017 Share January 30, 2017 The knob, if it's an old TV. I have only heard remote or channel changer. I remember ones that were attached to a cord. This is my new signature.

Widdershins 9,960 January 30, 2017 Share January 30, 2017 Huh. I've always called it The Clicker. In fact, think I call any & everything electronic that activates something else as "The Clicker." Even if it doesn't actually make a clicking noise! Augh! Now I'm questioning everything! Here goes another Existential Crises! 3 Beatings & Salivations Everybeing! Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread! Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew! Techno Universal 2,575 January 30, 2017 Share January 30, 2017 Well for me it's the toilet brush... For some reason I think the TV is a toilet that's constantly flushing when it's on but it gets clogged when it's a bad show or it gets boring so to change it I have to clean it and unclog it with my toilet brush remote. It's probably because I'm obsessed with toilet jokes... 1 Message from UNIT: UBC-001 (Original image used made by @chaosprincess signature composed by @Kyoshi) My theory of MLP OC: Techno Universal ask me!: Link
