What are you doing when you are not on the computer?

99% of the time I'm not at a keyboard it's because I'm playing music. Between marching band and jamming on pretty much any musical instrument I can find, it takes up quite a bit of time. The other 1% is made up of my massive amounts of AP homework.

Well, i'm either at school, or at band practice, or i'm practicing trumpet, or maybe at another place doing something. Or i might be playing games on my consoles or handhelds, or just busy with chores, eating, or going out to eat, or going out for whatever.

 

I spend a good bit of time on the computer, depending on how busy i am .

Either sleeping, eating, or working. I really don't have much of a life outside of working and goofing around on the computer, I watch a lot of tv.

Assuming that I actually get off of it in the first place, which is almost never, I'm usually just doing things like:

 

- Getting something to eat/drink.

- Laying in my bed, thinking.

- Playing on my Xbox.

- Practising my archery.

- Reading a book (albeit very rarely).

- Shopping.

 

And some of the more obvious things too. (Sleeping, using the washroom, etc.)

It's almost never that I'm not on the computer. If I'm not on, I'm really just playing video games or on my phone.

 

I don't have any kind of life offline, nor do I want one, really. I would read if I could find books that actually entertain me, but I'm too picky for that. I don't have or want friends, so I don't go out and do anything fun. I don't have a job, yet. I... really don't do anything. I'm pleased with things this way, though.

I spend most of my free time chilling by myself and doing one of the above mentioned activities. Sometimes I perform for people, but not as often as I used to. Sometimes I hang out with a couple friends, though usually only one or two at a time.... but I certainly enjoy a good party. Particularly outdoor multi-day music festivals.

*Sniff*.... summer's over... so is festival season.

When I'm not using my computer I'm usually trying to work out why i'm not on my computer and also the quickest way to get to it. Otherwise I'm probably asleep.

In the summer, I spend the whole day on the computer or reading. This summer I also got into writing fan fiction, but I don't spend much time on it.

During school, I spend more time doing homework or at clubs than entertaining myself, though. Normally I'll just watch TV in my free time.

I do most things at my computer (listen to music, watch anime, do homework etc), so there's not a whole lot a do when not on my laptop. A short list:

 

• Taking my daily walk around town
• Eating (I often do this while using my laptop, so this can almost be excluded from the list)
• Using my phone

Probable things I might be doing: 

1) Sleeping/Taking a nap. 

2) In school studying. 

3) Playing the piano.

4) Taking a shower. 

5) Hanging out with friends/classmates. 

6) Having an outing, with my family perhaps...

7) Sketching, but I might be doing it in front of my computer, so... 

8) Composing, but sometimes I use some computer programs for help.

That's not something that happens very often. I usually stay online even when I am playing the Wii and I check messages between levels. Same with watching TV, I stay logged in while watching TV. Times I am away from my laptop, I am either taking a walk, sleeping, taking a bath, or shopping. There are some other possibilities me being away but not many. I even bring my laptop to friends houses, so unless they don't have Wifi.. x3

I'm on the computer way too often to ever not be on the computer. I do enjoy bicycling a lot, but the summers are way too hot where I live to make frequent bike tours practical - I've had a few situations where I would get a few miles and then have to stop and call someone to pick me up because the heat was too intense.

 

The past few weeks I've been learning to solder as well. I'm starting a project that involves building a life sized, remote-controlled replica of R2D2, and I'm currently working on the dome displays, which involve a ton of soldering tiny LEDs onto circuit boards.
