Hi, I was thinking a bit about Alicorns and I have a few questions. "The Crystalling" confirmed that no Alicorn was born in Equestria before, so that means Celestia and Luna are either not born Alicorns or they're not from Equestria. So how did they become Alicorns and/or where are they from? They didn't rule the land before it was Equestria when Clover the Clever was around (which I think was about three millennia ago) so were they in another land or were they just not born yet? Who are their parents? Why do Celestia and Luna have wavy hair but Cadence, Twilight and Flurry Heart don't? Also, why do Celestia, Luna and Cadence have square faces and are much taller and thinner than most ponies, however, Twilight has the same build and Flurry Heart is just like a regular baby but with huge wings? I noticed that Twilight's wings are bigger than Rainbow Dash's so do all Alicorns have bigger wings than pegasi? Can Alicorns walk on clouds like the Pegasi do? When all the Pegasi were making a tornado in "Hurricane Fluttershy", did the Alicorns join in too? What about baby Pegasi who could fly like Pound Cake? Did Scootaloo join? Can Alicorns get the feather flu? Who was the Alicorn princess who drank the "love poison"?

I have a few questions. Why do most ponies have round faces and some have square faces? Some say that the mares have round faces and the stallions have square faces but is that true? I mean Zecora is a female with a square face and so are Celestia, Luna and Cadence but not Twilight or Flurry Heart. Also, some colts have round faces. Are colts born with round faces and they go square when they grow up? Why are Flurry Heart's wings bigger than her body and is it because she's an Alicorn? Speaking of wings, why are Bulk Biceps's wings smaller than the rest of his otherwise large body? (Like they're the same size as a foal's wings) Why are Celestia, Luna and Cadence much taller and thinner than most other ponies? Why are Big Mac, Shining Armour and the Cake parents taller and chubbier than most other ponies? Why do adult pegasi fold their wings to their bodies but I've never seen a pegasus foal do that?

I once dreamt that my mother (who actually doesn't know that much about the show) was telling me all these fake "facts" like she said unicorn magic came from unicorns sensing the emotions of other ponies and these emotions charge up their horns like electricity or something. (I know that's not true because if Sweetie Belle could read emotions then she'd know that Babs Seed was sad and if Rarity could read emotions then she'd know Twilight was telling the truth about Cadence being an impostor.) Also, I dreamt that my mother said she "had to write to the princess". Was that an MLP reference? Also I once dreamt that someone said "I'm so hungry I could eat a pegasus!" and Fluttershy was like "No, please don't".

I think that would be cute and I like your suggestions. For that user who says it's been done before and seems shallow/cliched, remember that the show has a way of presenting an often-done story premise, then "de-stereotype-ifying" it. Like in "A Dog and Pony Show", Rarity got kidnapped and forced to work in the mines, which sounds cliched, especially as the "fancy" characters (especially the females) do get kidnapped a lot in fiction, but then she outwitted the Diamond Dogs and aided in her own escape. I can't see how it could be different with the baby one. The only characters I don't think it's a good idea to become babies would be Celestia and Luna because they are the ones who move the sun and the moon.

Hi. I'm here and I'd like to say. Stop teasing the Princess of the Day. Quit saying she sends her sis to the moon; all the time. And don't lampoon her and call her an evil troll. She's playful, yes, but her important role in raising the sun is way too needed And normal ponies wouldn't have succeeded. Luna's a pony the citizens adore. But the pony who got banished was not Luna anymore. She was Nightmare Moon who was evil and bad. (And possibly a little bit mad) And if she made the eternal night. (Warning-this is quite a fright) The plants and ponies--they would die! And Celestia was sad to say goodbye. She used the Elements of Harmony Which eventually set Luna free. She did prank the Cakes, but it's not right. To claim she is a Parasprite. She only wanted them to see. They needn't talk so formally. But she doesn't seem to feel bad Or say she wants release because she's sad. Hey there, brony. Don't be sad. Just think of Pinkie and you won't feel bad. He wasn't that disgraceful, dude, and please, sir, do not be so rude.

I'm going to just sort of analyse this. Firstly, you mentioned "next gen". That sounds like a good idea for a fanfic but I don't think I'd like it very much or it'd be very likely to happen in the show because it sort of implies that their kids are in the spotlight now and the mane six are less important, which I doubt the writers would do. If one, two, some, most or all of the mane six did have kids, they would have to date and get married to a stallion first (they'd probably have to marry as it's family friendly) and then there'd be a few pregnant episodes, one where the baby is born, and one which has an Aesop about parenting I reckon. I also can't imagine how fitting their babies into a plot would work, but I think I'd like it if there was a baby cause they're cute!!

Hello, I was wondering if any of you lot have dreamt about the show? I have, and I'll share mine. I once dreamt that I was watching an episode in which Zecora was pregnant and the father was some other zebra but we never got to meet him. And I was wondering what Zecora would be like as a mother. I had another dream in which Mum and I were watching an episode that began with Zecora sleeping under a tree and sleep-talking about three characters named Olivia, Baby Olivia, and Jake and I thought that was odd as her sleep-talking didn't rhyme. This dream was not exactly about MLP, but it was mentioned and a little boy in the dream said "Remember that episode where Zecora really needed a wee and then Pinkie Pie wanted to play a prank on Zecora?" and I was like "There's no such episode" (P.S. If there was, what would that episode be like?) In another dream I had, Zecora was angry and not speaking. :/ And in another dream I had, I found out that Princess Luna and an unnamed prince were actually the parents of Applejack, Big Mac and Apple Bloom, and I was, like, talking to the ponies and I said "Hey, Apple Bloom, if your parents are a unicorn and an Alicorn, why are you all Earth ponies?" and she just said "Genetics are weird". Also, Luna in the dream was all serious and kept saying "c'est la vie" like it was her catchphrase or something. So, have you dreamt about the show and if you have, what was the dream like? P.S. I don't know why I seem to dream about Zecora all the time.

Y'know how sometimes ponies have that thing where they're eyes go crazy, they do a crooked smile, their voices go all funny, their manes are messed up and they start acting all OOC? Like Twilight in "Lesson Zero", Pinkie Pie in "Party of One", and Fluttershy in "Best Night Ever"? Well, a lot of people say that the ponies are "going insane" from the "stress", but psychological problems like insanity and stress are a bit heavy for a kids' show, especially the idea that something fairly common (like loneliness in Pinkie's case) could cause them, added to the fact that MLP is generally utopian and the fact that insanity doesn't just come and go. My theory is that it's a certain psychological trait unique to those ponies when they experience a great deal of an emotion they do not usually experience. For Pinkie Pie it was loneliness and for Fluttershy it was disappointment (she was disappointed that the animals were running away; the anger came later, possibly as a part of being in "freaky-mode"). Now, for a while I thought "but what about Twilight? Anxiety is an emotion she experiences on the regular", but then I thought maybe it wasn't the anxiety that set her into that state, it was desperation. When she was just worried, that didn't set her off but she got set off when she started getting desperate and doing things like putting the "want-it-need-it" spell on Smarty Pants. If the theory is true, then the state goes away when the emotion goes away. But I have two queries about this. Would Applejack's craziness in "Applebuck Season" have anything to do with this? She did look out of sorts and was acting OOC, but did this stem from an unusual emotion and would, therefore, be in the same category or was she just tired from lack of sleep (ie had she been working at night etc and missed out on sleep?) Could this be the reason for Luna turning into Nightmare Moon? Is this character change what could happen if the state went on for too long or the emotion was too intense or too out-of-the-ordinary? Or is it what happens when an Alicorn goes through it? Or is the Nightmare Moon thing completely different? But, as many fan theorists say, it's just a theory. Or as Twilight might say "Just a hypothesis". Let me know your thoughts.

So Shining Armour is Twilight's brother and Cadence is Celestia's adopted niece. Does that mean Luna adopted Cadence? That would make Flurry Heart Twilight's niece and Celestia and Luna her... great-aunts? Also, Prince Blueblood is Celestia's nephew so did Luna adopt him too? Is he Twilight's brother-in-law?

Okay, so I disliked it but it wasn't because of the writing or that it "was a dud" or anything like that, but because it had a bunch of things I dislike personally in it. Three of my main dislikes are injuries, the idea of being tired/not getting enough sleep, and getting sick from eating bad food, so yeah, it was a given that I'd hate that one. But for all you people who don't mind those three big pet peeves of mine, go ahead and like it.

So, basically, I've heard there's an Earth stallion with an hourglass for his cutie mark named Time Turner. Some people think that his name and cutie mark mean he's a time traveller and write fanfics about him being a pony Doctor who goes by the alias "Doctor Whooves". And, as an extension to that, some people ship him with Derpy or believe they are related because they believe his last name is actually "Whooves" and Derpy's last name is Hooves, which sound alike. So, I have a few questions. 1. Is Time Turner ever seen actually travelling in time? 2. Is his name really Doctor Whooves in anything that could be called canon and if not, who was the first person to call him "Doctor Whooves"? 3. Has there been any canon evidence that he's married/related to Derpy?

Okay, now I know this is about puberty, but please keep it as clean as possible. You can mention becoming fertile and whatnot, but no graphic NSFW jokes or whatever. Down to topic, the reason why I was wondering how puberty worked in MLP was because I heard some people likening getting a cutie mark to going through puberty. Also, in the flashbacks in The Cutie Mark Chronicles and Where the Apple Lies, Fluttershy and Applejack respectively had those long, skinny legs. Is this something that happens to ponies when they go through puberty? I suppose they have a point when they become fertile and I guess ponies can be straight, gay, bi or whatever, but are there any other things that happen as ponies go through puberty? Does it affect unicorn magic? Also, do cutie marks have anything to do with puberty or can a pony find their special talent and therefore get their cutie mark when they're still prepubescent?

Hi there, to that other user, I was just joking, and I wasn't implying that YOU were insane, just that those things seemed a bit crazy when out of context. I even said "no offence" so that you wouldn't be offended. I also wasn't critiquing your opinions/calling you morons, I was just confused because I'm a bit of a Spock and couldn't understand your reasoning. I guess it was less of a "your opinion sucks" and more of a "your opinion doesn't make sense to me, can you please explain them?" Also, I have a better opinion towards "weird" than other people. I don't automatically assume weird = stupid because if that were true I wouldn't like Pinkie Pie
