What would your Dream Home Be ? 

 

 

What I want is a hobbit hole.

 

 

 

 

Why I ask ?

I ask because today I just got a the paper work done to actually build my dream house (way to much paper work for a 19 year old ). I got the paper work done for 308 acres of land and some money I will get soon to fund this project. I love that i going to do this a a young age and I also love that I will live far in the woods so I can brony out like 24/7 and just  MLP LARP all that time ...(dose not matter cuz i do that all ready) and I will have a super big game room for MLP role-playing games and tabletop wargameing  and a some rooms full of MLP stuff and some gust room so I can invite some Brony from a far to chill in my brony paradise and who know I may even find room mates to chill with and made one day live with that one special pony....

All I can say is that is in a long time I am happy.

As long as I have some good internet, a place to sleep, a kitchen and obviously a computer and a lot of peace and quiet, then I'd say almost about every house would be my dream home.

Some place that is cheap and secure. A place that is easy to keep up and has multiple businesses around it, so most likely in a decently large city. A place where I can walk to pretty much any place I would need, since I cannot drive. Beyond that, I would need internet and some space and I would be good. I am a really simple guy when it comes to that stuff. :3

I'm a very modest person. Personally, I wouldn't mind something out in the middle of the country, tucked back far off the road. In terms of design, I'd like the house to be very country inspired, and with an open floorplan.

Well, a castle, obviously.  But most of the time, that would be really impractical, and would just be too big and not comfortable.  Therefore, I want a nice, normal, cozy house inside of a castle.  Kind of like when they put the Buckets' house inside Wonka's factory.

A nice, medium-sized house with a big yard in a more rural area, but still close to Seattle. Maybe somewhere like Issaquah, right near the mountains.

 

Oh, and it would need good internet. And maybe it could come with a top of the line computer. And nice furniture.

And food.

 

And fully paid off.

A lot of people like small and modest. Not me.

Some of the things I'd want:

A tv room with the biggest possible tv, great sound system and plenty of seating.

A huge library that would make Twilight jealous. 

I'm not much of a video gamer but I'd have a game room with pool table, air hockey, table for board games etc. And some video games too.

Lots of room for collectibles from MLP, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, weapons, etc. 

 

I'd want to be pretty far from neighbors but close enough to civilization to get good internet.

Ideal would perhaps be palace or fortress of Eastern Orthodox or Stalinist architecture located on top of mountain overlooking city below. Some things I would like within this is big library, sort of museum or some places to store collections of things, very nice office, very good internet, high security, dedicated game room or general media room (but perhaps more specifically suited for LAN parties), and perhaps statues and portraits of people I consider highly interesting.

Ya its going to look just like in the LORT and i was going to build dirt hills in like a U shape to keep the wind at bay and a small lake to look at. I also want a big garden and a garden railroad ... ... cuz I always wanted one... ... and the last thing I think i want is a kind of bomb shelter / tornado shelter cuz you never know.... ... ... and I was thinking of a big guest house so i can have people who come from a far to see me and place to stay if they cant make it home in time or just a place to stay.

 

PS: (I am not rich) The people I bought the land never look under gourd there is a BIG oil spot down. So big that the oil companie needs 3 wells to get it all out withing 3/6 years .. its slow but there going to pay me some nice money for it..more than the land and house

My dream house would be a beautiful secluded house. Anywhere from medium to large sized would be nice. And to top it off in a tropical or sub-tropical climate on the beach so I can just go and listen to the waves or walk the beach peacefully. And all the essentials plus intermawebz with a fast connection.

My dream home is sort of something you'd see in minecraft. On the surface, it would be like a really tiny wooded-up shack in the middle of nowhere, but that shack just contains stairs down into the real home. The home would actually be entirely underground with configurable windows which could be modified to place the home in any location desired. Underwater, ancient rome, a more rural location, space...

 

There would also be an intricate setup of microphones and speakers around the house piped into a central computer. The computer would be running Cortana or Google Now and could pick up voice commands from anywhere in the house and process them accordingly. (Not really that hard of a task other than the wiring.)

 

And I guess that would be pretty much it. Other than a nice place to sleep, a solid internet connection and maybe a geothermal system to heat and cool the house...
