What is or was your favorite subjects in school?

Nah

History c: And not the type of class where the teacher dumps packets and readings on you. Those classes suck. I like the History classes where the teacher goes to the front of the class and teaches. The enthusiastic history teachers are the most under-appreciated teachers I know of. History class is hell without them.

My favorite subject was definitely Earth/Space Science. Space is one of my favorite subjects in general and for once I actually had a class about something that I really enjoy. Even then I still did not too well in that class but I did not do good in any of my classes honestly. School was not my strong point.

My second favorite was probably U.S. History, only because the teacher was awesome.

In regards to high school, aside from band, my favorite classes tended to be related to social studies and history; for the most part.

As for college, I enjoyed any class relating to geography, history, the other social sciences, and geology as well! Astronomy was also a great class! :D

Toss up between Electronics and Religious Education.

Electronics was my favourite because I like electronics.

R.E. was my favourite because we didn't do anything and the teacher was awesome.

English. I love writing, and it's something that has helped me express myself as well. I probably wouldn't be where was today if it hadn't been for the sake of writing. I also love history because my dad is really into it, so I grew up learning about different historical things like the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln. History is something that has always fascinated me because of this.

English, Literature, Creative Writing etc.- Writing, reading, spelling and anything to do with English comes very easily to me and I usually enjoy it.

History- I find world history to be very interesting. In class it's usually presented in a dry and boring way, but still a favorite subject. I had a good history teacher once, that was around the time I started to take more interest in it.

Art- Art is something I'm decent at, it's fun and allows me to be creative.

I just hate math and p.e. :P

History:  It made my mind do a fruit loop when we first look at cultures like the Greeks and Romans and the Egyptian and what they build by hand and their minds..

English:  It helped me to find a passion for writing and a voice in words!

Looking back I wish I would have taken some courses a lot more seriously. At the time I just didn't give a damn about any of it I would just learn enough to make a decent grade. However now I look back and I really am thankful for everything I learned in English more than any class. If I could go back English and History I would take more seriously and actually enjoy. Anything but math though, just yuck I'll hate math forever!!

Media is the only subject I really enjoy considering it's my dream to one day work within the film industry  :D But English is also something I enjoy from time to time, depending on what we are currently studying  :)

I enjoyed Reading in middle school and Spanish in high school.  I think that's about it. xD  People mistakenly thought that I just loved school because I consistently made good grades throughout elementary and middle school.

Oh, and whatever computer / typing classes I took.  I...  Actually enjoyed typing. x3  And holy crap, I'm doing just that right now!  Something I learned in skewl that actually proved useful both in the long run and on a daily basis.  Who'd a thunk?

I enjoy doing English at college. Sometimes we do things like create fictional news articles, discuss stories and topics and form opinions.

My favorite subject was Digital Imaging where I worked with Photoshop and Illustrator to make wacky pics. It helped my skills with those programs and others like Sony Vegas, Flash, and Anime Studio.

Other than that it was math because I could understand it more than most other common subjects.

English: my #1 favorite subject. I love it so much I'm currently taking a literature and writing class.

History: It almost made it to the #1 spot. I feel history is an underrated subject and should have more appreciation. Like English, I'm taking two history classes: European history and a WWI/WWII class.

Science: I'm taking an environmental science class and I love every minute of it! It's so interesting to learn about the environment and the creatures in it.

Spanish: I'm fascinated by linguistics, so Spanish is on the top of my list. It can be somewhat difficult at times (I'm looking at you vocabulary), but overall it's a useful class to be in.

I despise math so I'm not going to put that subject on the list.

My favorite subject was English. Especially 10th. Grade. I had a great teacher. Second would be history, and third is sociology . Though I was losing my mind 11th. Grade year , and I'm sad I didn't fully enjoy my high school years. 12th grade was a bore with only 4 classes to do.

  • 3 years later...

My favourite subject in High School was a class known as Visual Communication. It was essentially a class which required us to design thimgs via computer programs. It was one if the few classes that I was actually motivated to do work in, as I enjoyed the content.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Maths when I was younger, then French Litterature. In the end, my favorite subjects were Geography and English as a foreign language. I chose to study Geography at university later. :D

If only we'd study computer sciences in school, that would have been excellent. >_>

Favorites were chemistry, physics, and U.S. history. My physics and chemistry teachers were awesome and passionate about the subject. Same for my 11th grade history teacher.

My favorite subject in school was Computer Programming. It was actually challenging, engaging, and actually kind of fun. I got to code the equivalent Chip's Challenge in Python  Of course, I never would actually finish it, but I sure enjoyed working on it.
