How often do you swear/in front of who?

I swear a lot...and in front of everyone. I once greeted my grandmother and her group of friends with "What's up bitches!?" Her friends thought it was hilarious and now they all greet me this way. It's awesome. So yeah, I have no filter and constantly swear...in front of everyone.

Aaaaanyways, I swear fairly regularly. I try to watch myself a little better around my mother in law. However, my parents play video games (Mom plays WoW, Dad plays Left4Dead2), so they tend to be a bit foul mouthed too. Probably moreso than I do.

I swear a lot. Pretty much every conversation I've been in has contained more than one swears from me. And I swear I front of anyone. Doesn't matter who it is, I just pretty much automatically do it. Of course, I never really use them as insults, it's more like "Sh*t, I forgot to charge my phone*. For some reason, every attempt for me to reduce my swearing has failed horribly, so there's that.

My parents don't tolerate swearing in the house (heck, they don't even let me say the word "stupid"). I've never said a swear word in front of them. If I do, I'm dead meat.

 

School is a different story. I don't overuse swear words like some people, but I do say "crap" (which is technically swearing) and a few other words in frustration. My friends pressure me to swear more, but it's just not me. I swear more on the Internet though.

Weirdly enough, I swear far more in front of my family than my friends. I've had some pretty religious friends, so swearing in a "public" domain feels off to me.

 

The great thing is that when I do swear, it tends to get big laughs/shock out of people as is appropriate. I tend to have a pretty formal writing and speaking style and I think swearing can add a bit of levity to that.
