Guest November 12, 2013 Share November 12, 2013 I can say pretty much anything If I try really hard. "Specific" is hard for me. I apparently have a bad southern accent when I say "Why?" and "No" can't think of anything else now lol
CT-1138 3,182 November 12, 2013 Share November 12, 2013 Nihil and any variation thereof. When lever I try to pronounce it, it comes out sounding like I'm saying "knee-heil", which just makes me sound like a Nazi. Cocokoru 133 January 16, 2020 Share January 16, 2020 It's difficult for me to pronounce many words with “r” in english. Like rumor or flower. English dialects are impossible for me at the moment, but I really like them.
Lucky Bolt 35,066 January 16, 2020 Share January 16, 2020 I've always mispronounced the word "south" as "sowlth" Same thing goes for other similar words, like "mouth". I don't know why but it's something I always find myself doing and at this point have stopped trying to correcting myself. ☆ My socials ☆
Splashee 28,566 January 16, 2020 Share January 16, 2020 (edited) I cannot pronounce any of those UK counties names: Hampshire Wiltshire Shropshire Cheshire It seems you need to be a TV presenter of Top Gear to be able to pronounce those correctly. Spoiler EDIT: I would pay money for @Treeglow Flicker to voice record her saying those Edited January 17, 2020 by Splashee

Odyssey 5,717 January 17, 2020 Share January 17, 2020 It's taken me a while to realise that debut is pronounced "day-byu" and not "deh-but". Actually, most French-originating words with a silent T always seem to confuse me a bit.

Cagey 4,248 January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 Words with As that look like they can be pronounced long or short (“tobacco” vs. “Iran”). I’ll know how to say them in my head, but if it’s been years since I last said the words, I’ll mess up.
