How Many Countries Have you Ever Visited in your life?

I feel really lame now, I've NEVER gone outside the US The farthest from home I've been was driving to Florida and California from my home in Texas on two different occasions. I've never even been on an airplane. I suppose i could have easily traveled to Mexico since its only a few hours drive away, but its also very very dangerous there right now. I wouldn't dare to go there. You guys are so lucky..... My family can't afford to travel.

Don't worry about it. I don't feel like I've traveled much compared with my friends. My friends have been to South Africa, Russia, Spain, Brazil even. And they're from Indonesian. Don't let the ability to travel dictate who you are financially. In reality, the ability to travel often just spoils people when the real purpose is to either make new friends or learn about other places.

Well, I live in America, but I only went to a few countries, which are the following:

1. Canada (Niagara Falls, Ontario, in 2000 by train; St. John, New Brunswick, and Halifax twice by cruise; Montréal and Quebec City in 2002 by car).
2. The Netherlands Antilles (Aruba in 2009 and 2012; Bonaire in 2012).
3. St. Martin, both the Dutch and French sides, in 2011.
4. St. Kitts in 2011.
5. The Bahamas in 2007 by cruise.

Lol had to revote after reading the post.  USA and Canada.   Been to Canada twice when I was in BoyScouts for summer camping trips. 

 

Nice citys but the Camping sucked.   One trip I got Boiling soup spilled in to my boot, ouch. 

 

As for America I can say I have been all over from north to south and east to west.   Well ok 1 trip to Seatle when I was a baby and 1 Road trip to Florida from PA.

I'm from the States and have currently been to South Korea, Canada, Germany (just for a few days), the Netherlands (Amsterdam for nearly two weeks!), Belgium (Brussels and Antwerp in passing), and I'm currently in the Czech Republic.

 

I'll be hitchhiking to Krakow in Poland on Monday. I have MANY countries on my bucket list and a solid year to travel!

I've been to England because I live there, Scotland, Wales, and I went to France for a weekend holiday once. It was a disaster and I managed to get seriously ill. Go me!

 

Apart from the latter I tend to stick around the UK a lot. Probably because after the Paris incident I've been put off trips abroad forever.
