Breakfast?!

You bet I do! If wasn't for taking a shower and eating breakfast in the morning... I don't know how in the world I would function. I don't see how other people can go without breakfast ._.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so, yes.

That's what everybody eats to start off the day with some energy.

However, for me, if I wake up after twelve, I eat lunch, not breakfast since it doesn't feel the same when eating later on.

I rarely eat breakfast and when I do it's usually just a slice of toast or a pop tart, I love breakfast foods like cereal, toast, bacon and eggs and of course pop tarts, i just don't eat them at breakfast time.

Yeah I really don't eat breakfast. It's my own thing, but It's a waste of time. I usually stick to coffee or a muffin. Or those belvita breakfast bar snacks. Other than that, no breakfast.

Of course I eat breakfast! They do say it's the most important meal of the day. I eat my dinner usually between 8 P.M-10 P.M and then usually hit the hay for some sleep. After so many hours I can just imagine how hungry my stomach must be for some grub so of course I go eat something to satisfy myself. What I eat though is usually something that is considered "lunch" food I suppose. I like to make Spaghetti, cook some baked chicken,  prepare some beef stew or something along those lines for my breakfast and boy is it delicious! laugh.png

9 days out of 10, I eat breakfast. The only times I don't is if I wake up too late, so it's lunch time (although I do have brunch occasionally anyway), or it's too early and I'm not hungry yet. Otherwise, I'll eat. I typically wake up quite hungry in the morning, so I gotta have something or else I won't have the energy to function for the rest of the day. When I was a kid, I used to eat cereal every morning before school, unless I didn't feel like cereal, then I'd have a Pop Tart or something like that. Just something to get into my stomach.

Today, I'll eat cereal once in a while, if I'm not too hungry, as cereal is not very filling for me at all. I can eat it, and then I'll be hungry again within an hour or two. If I have the time, I'll make myself a full breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. Normally though I'll have one of these, which are quite tasty and filling, as well as quick and easy to make if I'm in a hurry. I also always have a cup of black tea with milk and sugar with my breakfast, as I never ever developed a taste for coffee, blegh.

On the rarer occasion I actually go out somewhere for breakfast, I get the full breakfast plus some pancakes and/or French toast, with lots of syrup. I love sweet things. I'm glad I have a high metabolism. I never gain weight from food.

Most mornings, no. Simply because I don't get up early enough these days. Once I begin working again that'll change. My ideal breakfast would simply consist of coffee, pancakes/waffles, bacon, and hashbrowns. Nothing fancy, but delicious all the same. If I do eat breakfast these days, it's usually a slice of toast or two with some peanut butter and coffee.

I'm more of a brunch guy cause of how late I sleep. However, I do work at Cinnabon. So free cinnamon rolls, cupcakes and coffee are plentiful. Too bad sweet food like that gets old really fast.

I have the world's biggest sweet tooth. Food like that never gets old for me. That's why breakfast is my favorite meal, as it provides more opportunities to consume sweet stuff.

It's not often I eat breakfast, especially when there's no class like on weekends. What kind of breakfast I eat depends on what's available in the cafeteria and how much time I have. If I have about half an hour of time to spare, I take a larger breakfast. When time is short, I usually take a sandwich or two and get moving but if I have time, I take cereal but with a twist.

We always have powdered milk and Corn Flakes available. What I'll do is take a bowl, add one and a half tablespoons of powdered milk and mix with hot water. I might also add a little sugar. What I'll do next is pour corn flakes into it and the hot water should make it turn soft very quickly. Then I pour some more and repeat until most of the milk has been absorbed by the softened corn flakes. Alongside that I also tend to eat whatever fruit's available and I tend to prefer apples and bananas. Oranges are a bit too much of a hassle for my liking. One morning syrup was made available to us. I ate some pancakes with syrup but then I took the leftover syrup and poured it all into the bowl with hot milk. It was sweet but a little too sweet.

During the week in a school year, I normally try my hardest to eat breakfast, cuz breakfast is cool. However on the weekends, and summer of course, I tend to sleep past when most people normally have breakfast. So I either eat breakfast anyway, or I just have lunch. Depends on how I'm feeling.

have to have breakfast. If I don't, and it is during the school year, it will be a terrible day.  Won't be able to focus on anything but food, start becoming ignorant to others, and heck I'm basically the guy off the Snickers commercial.

During the school year, I usually didn't have breakfast. My classes didn't start until around midday which meant I slept until around midday. Lunch was my "breakfast" :P  But now that I'm back home for the summer, I eat cereal pretty much everyday. Gotta enjoy the free food while it lasts ohmy.png

Breakfast sucks!  It makes me have to throw up.  I hate powderie eggs and f@#-ing stale-ass bacon.  My stomach always feels like a fricken rock after eatting breakfast!  If I have the luck to hold it throughout the day, it usually just ends up bloating me...

And my college friends always make me get breakfast for dinner..  It pisses me off.  -.-

Eating breakfest truly helps you, this is why:

When you're sleeping, you are fasting for quite a few hours. Long enough for the body to use up your restored glycogen levels, which is your primary source of fuel. It is important to eat as soon as you wake up to ensure these levels are refilled.

Sure, your body will just use stored fat as another source but you'll feel incredibly weak and drained.

It's much easier to endure more once you use up your glycogen levels minutes before burning fat than to have your levels depleted hours prior.

Also, eating as soon as you end your sleep will help supress feelings of being tired, hungry, weak, grumpy and negative.

I always eat a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of Soymilk in the morning to ensure I have energy before my morning exercise. It gives me around 70 grams of Carbs and 15 grams of Protein, enough to fill my glycogen levels.

Carbs and protein are essential to giving one energy.

I used to, but ever since I've been by myself I can't find the motivation to do it? I used to do a lot of cereal, but I can't go through a gallon of milk quick enough with out it spoiling, and a half gallon seems to go by too quick.

As for bacon, eggs and stuff I'd love to do that as well. But I just haven't had the oomf for it. I usually wait till around 3pm or later to eat my first meal, and then another around 6 or 7.

It depends on when I get up, and what's going on that day. Usually on the weekends I eat breakfast, mainly because my mom makes it. During the school year I always eat breakfast, sure it's usually just a poptart, but that is still breakfast. So basically it's only sometimes that I will eat the first meal of the day.

No.

I honestly don't see the point in eating breakfast; we all have things we ought to be doing, in the mornings: showering, brushing our teeth, shaving, getting dressed (all of this is happening respectively.) How can we, or why should we, make time for a silly bit of cereal in the morning when another meal is coming straightaway at 12 o' clock for most of us.

I mean really

Breakfast is main meal for me, so yes. Usually it's beans\chiken\eggs + may be porridge, soup or pancakes and always rye bread and milk or tea (depends on mood).

It's hard for me without breakfast, I'm usually starting my day at 6 a.m. and end it in 11 p.m. with breakfast at 6.30a.m., dinner at 11.30a.m., and supper at 16.00 p.m. and yes I do not eat after 16.00 - may be some fruits only.
