I usually feel relieved. Most of my status updates are either complaints or talking about stupid things my pets did, so ignoring it is the best thing that can really happen.

I didn't even know status updates were a thing on this site until I saw the thread. If I'd post one it would be probably be something inane I felt wouldn't make a good thread, so if no one would reply to it I'd be very much fine with it.
