How often do you swear/in front of who?

I probably swear most by myself, only because I start cracking stupid jokes to myself that often include swearing...the second most probably with my girlfriend, but not in a mad or frustrated sense; we both heavily cuss around each other just because we’re so raw and real around each other and crack stupid jokes to each other. :orly: Third most would probably be around friends.

I usually don’t swear in an aggravated sense, usually just more in a blunt, humorous one. Not to say I’ve ;) sworn out of anger, though.

I would say I’m a relatively heavy swearer, but I can also go weeks without saying any swear words whatsoever, easy. It’s not so much a habit as it is expression. It’s easy to choose when I swear and when I don’t.

Never, except for situations where a word just slips out as a reaction. I don't avoid swearing for any moral reason per se, I just dislike it and view it as unnecessary the vast majority of the time.

I'm rather casual swearer, because I don't see the problem with swearing, swearwords being just that, words. I use them with my friends and parents casually, usually to describe something (and alone all the time), but I have enough sense to not curse in public too much, since I know that some people don't think like I do.

I only try to swear when it's around people I know and not in public. It's pretty rude to do so to people you have no idea are.

I never swear at home. But stuff does occasionally slip out on bad days at work :P I can get away with it because my part of the store is away from customers.

I usually swear the most when I'm around my friends and younger brother, as swearing in front of them isn't all that bad. I do swear in front of my mom, but it's not super often or nothing, and so does my brother. My mom doesn't really care at this point given our age and all. I don't swear when I'm by myself, or if I do then I do it in my head. All in all, I'm not a heavy swearer, in general my friends and brother aren't very heavy swearers either, more so casually or given the right moment.

I swear around everyone except kids...or when im in a formal setting. I can not imagine a world where i dont drop a bad word ever other sentence. One time i dropped a curse word in front of my godmotherand she responded: "Ooooh, ayy... we gotta regular Joe Pesci here!"

I actually don't swear in English at all. As a language practice I hardly ever swear. I've always thought if I had to swear then I wasn't smart enough to think of a more fitting word or phrase.

I don't swear much. I am guilty of using a self invented swear word though. If I say, drop something, I sometimes say "Oh shnoots!". It gets me weird looks sometimes.

I’m a bit of a swearer, but I keep most of it that myself. My husband hears a lot because he doesn’t care. I don’t feel the need to censor around him. My sister makes a big deal about it. She doesn’t get mad, but she’s so highly amused by even small cuss words. “My little sister is cussing?!” Now picture that in an overexcited Pinkie Pie voice. It’s annoyingly.

I avoid it with children or the parents at school, but it slipped out in front of another parent once. I apologized and moved on. He didn’t seem to care.

My son and father heard it the worse from me on a predicted six hour hike that turned into an eleven hour hike. I muttered to myself many times. It helped with the pain. My son was amused by it. My father was practically bragging about it later.

I swear a lot in front of my younger brother, mainly for comedic purposes.

I don't use those words frequently in public.

I always say those words quietly in certain occasions like when I read some kinds of certain posts or some things like that.

I usually swear when I'm by myself. I try not to when I'm with family, but sometimes it just slips out.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Never in front of my family. They're heavily religious and don't want to hear it.

Around my band friends from high school, it's a completely different story. I was an honorary low brass member (I played bari sax), to give you an idea of the people I used to hang out with. The low reeds section (bari and tenor saxes) was basically just the redneck version of low brass, and there was rarely ever a sentence without a swear word.

I don't often swear in front of people but it's not like I don't at all either.
